H&R Block is warning that Americans are going to be
totally confused when trying to tackle their 2014 tax returns; the complicated
myriad of regulations associated with the Affordable Care Act will stump even
the most knowledgeable of tax payers. Former
IRS Commissioner Mark W. Everson said the new Obamacare requirements will
deliver a "shock to the system."
"Low-income filers are not used to itemizing and it will be a big
challenge for them," he told the Daily Caller. "You’re introducing a
whole new level of complexity."

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Should Lindsey Graham run for President? (Belton ~ Davis, CA)
A. There appears to be too much of a crowd of potentially
good candidates right now. I think
Lindsey should stay where he is and keep Mitch McConnell from joining the
progressive left, which I think he would do in a heartbeat if Graham left the
Senate.
Q. Do you think government bureaucrats have contempt for the
American public? (Wanda ~ Folsom, CA)
A. Hmmm, let’s see: I.R.S. and John Koskinen; I.R.S. and
Lois Lerner; White House and Valerie Jarrett; White House and Barack Obama;
D.O.J. and Eric Holder; D.H.H.S. and Jonathan Gruber… I could go on and on, but
do I really need to say more?
Q. I know you have mentioned it before, but the fact that
the federal government is warning banks and credit unions not to allow accounts
with gun stores or gun brokers is really coming out now. They are legal businesses in this country;
how can the federal government force the banks and credit unions to discriminate
against them? (Gerard ~ Blaine, WA)
A. It’s called oppression and intimidation. Someone needs to sue the government over
this. The next thing you can expect is
that they will forbid banks to do any business with citizens who own guns.
