Oozing out yesterday came the news that Barack Hussein Obama
has fired off an arrogant epistle to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warning that Netanyahu “will pay the price” for his scheduled speech before
Congress. Last year, Atlantic magazine
quoted an unnamed senior administration official calling Netanyahu a
“chickenshit.”
COMMENTS:
Hussein’s own arrogance and petty petulance has become more
than an embarrassment to the United States.
Someone really needs to take his belligerent fanny out to the
woodshed. He’s starting to sound more
and more like a real Hussein.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. You said [yesterday] in MY AMERICAN OPINION that
Netanyahu turned down Obama’s invitation to meet, after Boehner extended an
invitation and Netanyahu accepted. Then
we heard that Netanyahu asked to meet with Obama after he agreed to meet with
Congress and that Obama refused. What do
you think the truth is? (Larry ~
Seattle, WA)
A. I heard that Netanyahu had declined the president’s
invite before I heard that Obama was the one to decline. I believe the second story to have been
invented by Obama to try and deflect the fact that he had been outmaneuvered
and shunned by both Boehner and Netanyahu.
One only has to ask the question: Who do you think is the de facto international
Ishmael here, Obama or Netanyahu?
Q. In coverage of King Abdullah’s death in Saudi Arabia, I
heard that our relationship with that country hasn’t really been all that good as of
late. I thought we were close
allies? (Maureen ~ San Rafael, CA)
A. Although Saudi Arabia's social norms are repugnant to America, our relationship was particularly close when Bush II was
in office; but it soured dramatically under Obama. As a matter of fact, our relationships with
virtually all countries have soured under Obama. I guess it’s true: we have a real lemon for a
president.
Q. Why do you suppose we haven’t closed our embassy, or at
least removed most of our staffing from Yemen?
(Phillip ~ Port Angeles, WA)
A. After being hounded by the press over the same issue, the State Department has quietly begun removing staff from its embassy in Yemen. Obama doesn’t want to admit that Yemen is in deep
terrorist trouble; after all, he’s been ballyhooing about what great strides
they made with his assistance and he just released five top terrorist prisoners
from Gitmo to go there. Once again, he
thinks his poop does not stink, while those of us downwind can definitely
affirm otherwise.
TODAY’S QUOTE:
“A good leader can engage in a debate frankly and
thoroughly, knowing that at the end he and the other side must be closer, and
thus emerge stronger. You don’t have
that idea when you are arrogant, superficial and uninformed.” ~ Nelson Mandela
