Federal law bars states from charging tolls on Interstate
Highways. Obama wants to change
that.
COMMENTS:
It’s an age-old ploy now being reinvented by the
Administration. “We don’t have enough
money to repair the roads and bridges, so we need to raise taxes.” They raise taxes, half the money they raise
repairs roads and bridges, and the other half goes for some pork project. Then you let things deteriorate and you do it
again. Obama is going to cut spending on
highways and use the money he saves to shore up ObamaCare or something like
that and he’s going to transfer the tax burden to the states. We’re going to get it in the shorts
again.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. What is your opinion on the lowest approval ratings Obama
has ever had? (Leah ~ Las Vegas, NM)
A. The real thing to fear here is that Obama doesn’t care what anyone thinks about him; most dictators
don’t. So, if you’re looking for him to
have some epiphany, forget it. He'll tell the truth about Benghazi first.
Q. Secretary of State Kerry said [yesterday] that this is a “wake
up call,” and that Putin seems to be “playing by a different set of rules.” Why is it that Kerry and Obama are just now
coming to grips with something we’ve known ever since long before the
Olympics? Why is Obama out gallivanting
around Asia while the Ukrainian situation is going on anyway?” (Julius ~ Rosemont, IL)
A. Obama, Biden, Kerry, Pelosi, Reid etc… That whole crowd
lives in its own reality. It’s taken
even Putin two months to penetrate their bubble and let them know who’s
boss. And as hot as things are in
Washington right now, I halfway expect Obama to extend his out-of-the-country
trip because, he can’t stand the heat in the kitchen.
Q. How come no one is talking about the $2,500 in healthcare
savings Obama promised under ObamaCare?
(Reggie ~ Eureka, CA)
A. It’s just another Obama broken promise… yawn.
