Here I squat ever so gently upon a rotting log atop Mt. Burney in Northern California, gazing across the endless landscape below as the rays of all of the energy in the universe permeate every pore and cell of my body. I am the great Burney Mountain Guru Hermit and you, my lucky friend, have arrived at THE blog of pure, unadulterated and untethered wit, satire and veracity.

REAL UNEMPLOYMENT SOARS
Regardless of Obama Administration proclamations that the unemployment problem is improving, 233,000 more people were unemployed at the end of February, according to a PATRIOT UPDATE report. In February, there were 10,459,000 unemployed individuals age 16 and over; in addition, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistic, there were 91,361,000 Americans, 16 or older, who did not participate in the nation’s labor force in February, because they neither held a job nor actively sought one.
COMMENTS:
The ugly lies this Administration are perpetrating on
America are sickening.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Sharyl Atkisson, one of the few reporters in mainstream
media who I don’t think has ever strayed far from the real teachings of journalism,
is agreeing to an early resignation from her investigative correspondent’s
position at CBS News. Do you
think more journalists will step up to their obligations to report things as
they really are? (Porky ~ Ferndale, WA)
A. I pray for that every moment of every day. As a journalist of sorts, I’ve always
believed that the news belongs on one page and opinion belongs on another, and
the duty of every journalist is to report the news and the facts objectively
and clearly. But then again, I’m not
under the thumb of, or afraid of, Obama or his Chicago-Kenyan Mafia,
either.
Q. What’s your opinion of Dr. Ben Carson as a possible
Presidential candidate? (Megan ~
Littleton, CO)
A. Well, this is a little convoluting. I admire the man for having the guts to stand
up and tell the truth in the presence of Obama during the National Prayer
Breakfast a couple of years ago. I think he is absolutely right
on so many issues of the nation. I am
concerned about his position on the ownership of guns, where he feels that
semi-automatic pistols are best for those in the countryside, but not suitable
for urban areas lest they fall into the wrong hands. I firmly agree with the proposition that a Constitutional
right such as gun ownership is a right without restriction. What he has said in his position is that he
does not believe criminals have any access to guns except through stealing them
or gaining possession of them from legal gun owners. You and I both know that is absurd and I
think that, upon further reflection, Dr. Carson would like to take his words
back. That all being said, I think he’d
make an excellent President, particularly if backed up by a Tom Cruz, Marco
Rubio or Sarah Palin.
Q. You’ve mentioned that the Ukraine is in serious economic
trouble. Can you elaborate? (Percy ~ Las Vegas, NV)
A. Yanukovych raided the country’s coffers and mismanaged
the government in a sea of corruption. He
left the nation’s cupboards bare; they are in imminent danger of bankruptcy. Frankly, this makes them vulnerable to
Russian aggression and we can only offer them a $1 billion loan guarantee
because… we have to fund ObamaCare.

instability of the private economy.” ~ Milton Friedman
