OBAMA’S “TRANSPARENCY” MIRAGE

Although Obama promised “the most transparent administration in American history,” requests under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) have been denied more often than in previous administrations according to as Associated Press report.  “More often than ever, the administration censored government files or outright denied access to them last year under the U.S. Freedom of Information Act, cited more legal exceptions it said justified withholding materials and refused a record number of times to turn over files quickly that might be especially newsworthy.”

COMMENTS:
I learned at an early age that if you are not doing anything wrong, then you have nothing to hide.  In Obama’s case, I think that statement says it all.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. There seems to be confusion over just who it is that has signed up for ObamaCare.  Can you shed some light on this?  (Flo ~ Kansas City, MO)
A. I don’t know the demographic breakdown; nobody’s talking.  I will say that anyone willing to pay exhorbitant costs for medical coverage which doesn’t cover everything, which doesn’t allow them to see the physician of their choice which raises their taxes and cuts their Medicare… is either a complete idiot or a devout radical-left Obama zombie.  Period.

Q. The other day, you came out and said the missing Boeing 777 was on the ground in a hangar in Pakistan.  Do you still think that way?  (Karen ~ Dunbar, CA)
A. Absolutely, with reservations.  The reservations are that by now the plane could have been emptied of cargo, bodies and seats and reloaded with fuel, painted and moved.  Based upon what we have bee told so far, anyone who dismisses this as being anything other than a deliberate theft of an aircraft to be used some time later for some nefarious purpose is out of his/her/both gourd.

Q. I’ve heard concern expressed in the news about sanctions against Russia leading to World War III.  What do you think?  (Preston ~ New Orleans, LA)
A. There are three ways to look at it: (1) Although Russia has been building up its military rapidly, they are not ready yet for a global war; (2) Putin realizes how weak we are and that we are not likely to ever be in this position again; (3) In terms of equipment and manpower, China could probably take us on and may be tempted to.  My major concern is a conflagration in the Middle East; neither Iran nor Syria is taking us seriously anymore, which puts Israel in the hot seat.  Israel is not likely to sit on their duffs for many more days before they strike Iran’s nuclear plants, buried in the mountains or not.  That would most certainly bring Russian troops into the area; what would China do?   I don’t think Obama would do anything; he has stated on more than one occasion that, should he have to choose, he would side with the Muslims.
