HORRIBLE VIOLENCE ALMOST ERUPTS IN HOUSTON

The New Black Panther Party and a group of Concealed Carry counter-protestors almost got into battle yesterday in Houston.  A march by the Blank Panther group ended under the watchful eye of Houston Police.

COMMENTS:
As of post time, I have not been able to find anything about the Concealed Carry Group, so I do not know if there is truth to that part of the story or not.  I will say this, as a gun owner and a concealed carry permit holder, if a group of Concealed Carry permit holders showed up at that protest and if they were carrying concealed weapons, their permits should be revoked; they are not responsible gun owners.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. I hear a former top-dog in the Labor Department says the government is lying to us and unemployment is 10.6%.  Is that true?  (Rosario ~ San Diego, CA)
A. Yes.  I have said almost since day one that any statistic coming out of the Obama Administration is not to be trusted.  Former commissioner of the Bureau of Labor Statistics Keith Hall says, “It is too easy to be employed under the current definition, and too hard to be unemployed.”  If you’re an engineer making $150,000 a year and you get laid off, then you help your neighbor put up a fence for $500, you’re considered as being employed.  If you quit actively looking for work, even though you want work, you are no longer unemployed; you are “jobless.”  All of this is maneuvering to try and make Obama’s policies look better.  Hall prefers keeping track of the percentage of people who are employed, which was 63% before the recession started and has now dropped to 58.7%.

Q. What kind of database will ObamaCare have?  (Geraldine ~ Granada Hills, CA)
A. It will include comprehensive personal information such as income and financial data, family size, citizenship and immigration status, incarceration status, social security numbers, and private health information.  And, they’ll have access to virtually any other government database they might want to get into in order to “prove eligibility.”

Q. What do you think about Cuba secretly sending arms to North Korea?  (Gabe ~ Sacramento, CA)
A. Their cover story is that the parts were old and worn out and were being shipped for repairs.  There is an arms embargo against North Korea.  The shipment included two MiG Jets.  Thank God it wasn’t nuclear parts going in the other direction.
