SENIORS MAY TAKE A HEALTH CARE BATH

The nation’s seniors fear that the new health care plan will take many of their benefits away that they have earned and/or been paying for all of their lives, and give them to younger people who’ve never paid a dime for medical insurance or held a job long enough to pay into the Medicare system. The Administration has not denied that such effects may occur. Gross cuts in projected payments to insurers, hospitals and other providers total $533 billion over 10 years, according to a preliminary analysis by the Kaiser Family Foundation. About $100 billion will be plowed back into Medicare, leaving a net cut of $428 billion.

A. I’ve no idea. Did they have the same mistresses?
