Just another example of how much our esteemed representatives in Congress DON’T know about their governing document. TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. What’s your opinion regarding the U.S. Consulate attack in Pakistan? (Janice ~ Arlington, VA)A. We are a target for many groups and we are perceived as being vulnerable. Wait until they get their hands on one of Pakistan’s nukes.
Q. After the Space Shuttle program ends, then what? (Chick ~ Houston, TX)
A. Right now, we’re neutralized by our debt to China. With two or three astronauts on the Space Station and Russia being the only source of transport, we’ll soon be neutralized by that. It seems we just keep exposing ourselves to the possibility of problems.
Q. What’s your opinion on Congressional reform of Wall Street financial regulations? (Terry ~ Meridian, ID)
A. Barney Frank and Charles Dodd are spearheading this move. If anyone is to blame for the financial crisis we are now it, it’s those two birds. Had they followed the regulations that were in place instead of browbeating banks, Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac into extending loans that never should have been made, the housing collapse and resulting financial tumble would never have happened. We just had 1/6th of our national economy come under regulation with the Health Care Bill, and now they want another 1/6th? I’m thinking everyone involved with both of these bills should be charged with treason. But, right now we have a de facto dictatorship. The Democrats in Congress have proven they will do anything Obama wants, and they are in control.
