The leading candidate for Speaker of the House of
Representatives is Republican Kevin McCarthy from California. McCarthy came out and plainly said that he
believes the House Select Committee on Benghazi is nothing but a political
witch hunt against Hillary Clinton. After
an uproar of disbelief, McCarthy has attempted to backtrack and spin off his
comments.

I don’t know about you, but I’ve had enough of spinners and
liars in our government. And that is
what this election is turning out to be about.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. As much as I like Trump, I’m getting sick and tired of
all of the name calling and belittling of other candidates. To me, this is just more slime politics. Am I wrong?
(Janice ~ Live Oak, CA)
A. I was glad to see him come out with a tax policy
statement. I agree that he needs to quit
slinging mud and to start getting down to revealing more of his intended
management objectives unless, of course, he’s slinging mud at Obama.
Q. I haven’t heard any of the candidates take a position on Putin’s
actions in Syria. Why not? (Curly ~ Medford, OR)
A. Well, I disagree.
Rubio has been quite vocal about it; in fact, he foretold what was going
to happen during one of the debates. Trump
thinks it’s okay, what Russia is doing. Fiorina
says we must be prepared to shoot down Russian planes in Syria. Carson’s not saying anything and who else
matters? Romney did say, when he was
running in 2012, that Russia was the biggest threat to our national security. He
missed the mark; the biggest threat to our national security is Barack Hussein
Obama.
Q. They’re saying that the number of people in the labor
force who are not working is at its highest level since World War II yet,
unemployment is down to pre-Obama levels.
What gives? (Gilda ~ Hawthorne, NV)
A. Well, it couldn’t be Obama or anyone in his
administration. They have never told a
lie, I promise you.
