Two years ago on September 11th, the Benghazi Massacre took place. To this day, we still have no answers.
COMMENTS:
The matter seems to have been dropped in Congress. Consider this: The same D.O.J. that took 30
days to land at the Benghazi compound and start their “investigation” took two
days to start investigating the hacking and release of nude celebrity
photos. We Americans still deserve
answers and we should be kicking Congress in the ass for not getting them.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Do you agree that the President is wise to be deliberate
and take his time in responding to the various critical problems facing the
world? (Jen ~ Carpinteria, CA)
A. I am definitely not an advocate of “knee-jerk reactions,”
but let me ask you a question: If there were a serial killer in your town and
your police chief was being “deliberate and taking his time,” acting as if it
were no big deal, what would you do with him?
If that serial killer got TV time and taunted the town, saying “You’re
next,” and your police chief said he wasn’t going to be bullied into doing
anything, what would be your response?
Maybe Obama should go walk his dog, play a round of golf and “deliberate”
some more?
I do remember when I was a kid in a small town in Arizona,
the police chief used to sit on his porch with a rifle across his lap after
work. Nobody in town messed with him and
we had no crime. That’s the way the
United States used to be; Uncle Sam was big and powerful and he sat on the
national porch with his gun across his lap.
Nobody messed with us. These
days, Uncle Sam doesn’t sit on the porch anymore; he’s been replaced by a
mental basket-case with a broken peashooter in his lap. And yes, other countries are messing with us.
Q. What do you think about that statutory rape victim who is
being asked to pay child support?
(Cleotis ~ Richmond, CA)
A. It’s a tad different than the headlines would have you
believe. It was a 14 year-old boy who
had sex with a 20 year-old woman when he was in high school in Arizona. State
law says no one there can have “consensual” sex if they are under 15, which he
was, so he is technically a statutory rape victim. When he was 20, he got served with notice
that he had to pay back child support totaling $15,000. Now, I have to agree that at the age of 14,
he probably had no idea of what the financial ramifications might be if she got
pregnant. And, she did take advantage of
him because she did know what those ramifications might be. So, who should pay? If she can’t, who is going to support the
kid? You and me? Perhaps, if either one of them had had any
religion in their life, it wouldn’t have happened, so let’s blame Jesus.
