NEW YORK GUN SHOP UNDER ATTACK

PATRIOT UPDATE is reporting “The owner of a New York gun shop says he was given 24 hours to comply with a “request” from the New York State Police to turn over records of all customers who have purchased “bullet button” AR-15 rifles since the passage of the hastily-passed SAFE Act in 2013.

“Joseph F. Palumbo, owner of the Albion Gun Shop in Albion, New York, told The Blaze on Wednesday he had no choice but to turn over roughly 165 customer records last week. Now, both he and his customers are concerned that “door-to-door confiscation” or “warrantless searches” could come next.”

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. I’m upset.  I’m 73 years old and recently went to Rite Aid to buy some beer and they insisted I show identification to prove I am over 21.  Today, I had to go back to get some night time cold and flu medicine and not only did they make me show my driver’s license, they also made me swipe the magnetic strip into their computers.  The clerk adamantly told me it was “state law.”  I looked it up and discovered it is NOT state law; state law says if you LOOK to be under 25, you have to SHOW identification.  I don’t have to do these things at any other store I go to.  Isn’t there any way they can be forced to their senses?  (Mattie ~ Burney, CA)
A. Yes: quit shopping there.  If enough people do, they will either close their doors or change their policy.  They obviously are of the philosophy that is you want to do business with them, you will have to do it by their rules… or else.  You’d think they were secret agents for the White House, or something.  Who needs the aggravation?

Q. What do you think Obama means when he says we are going on the offensive against I.S.I.S.?  (Gabby ~ Silver Springs, NV)
A. He’s going to use a 3-wood instead of a 4-iron.  Who knows?  Maybe he intends to bring their leaders over and sit them down in the Rose Garden for a strong lecture.  Maybe he’s going to cut off their camel food.  I doubt very much that he’s going to do what is required of the situation, and that is to seriously kick ass.

Q. When Congress returns [today] they have to take up the budget again.  What do you predict is going to happen?  (Stephanie ~ Needles, CA)
A. I expect a 90-day “Continuing Resolution,” which means the current budget will be extended for 90 days and they won’t have to get serious about a budget until after the mid-term elections.  They’re all shaking in their boots right now because they know the public is totally pissed off at Congress and they might lose their jobs.  This is when they all get more "squirrely" than usual.
