HOLDER FLIPS THE BIG ONE TO CONGRESS AND THE MEDIA

Attorney General Eric Holder has missed the deadline set by Republicans to personally explain questionable testimony he gave on reporter surveillance, as lawmakers threaten to subpoena him if necessary.  The testimony he gave that he didn’t know anything about the Justice investigation into the A.P. and James Rosen of FOX NEWS has already been proven to be false on the face of it.  Congress wants an explanation and had given Holder until close of business yesterday to do so.

COMMENTS:
So where do we go from here?  You should know, if you followed FAST & FURIOUS, that Congress will eventually issue a contempt citation and Obama will proclaim Executive Privilege and that will be the end of that, simply because the media is still deathly afraid of what might happen to them if they start raising hell over the issue.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Sarah Moynihan, the ten-year-old girl who desperately needs a lung transplant, has been denied even the elevation of her status to being considered as a 12-year-old-girl by Kathleen Sebelius, Director of Health & Human Services on the basis of “rules.”  What is your view on this issue?  (Denise ~ Morgan Hill, CA)
A. You should not be surprised.  Sebelius, as does everyone else in the Obama Administration, sees herself as above anyone else.  She not only makes the rules, she enforces them.  This is only a glimpse of what all of us can expect under ObamaCare.  I would also be willing to bet that the Moynihans are not Democrats; our healthcare will be used against those of us who don’t do what Obama wants, just as has the I.R.S. to target the enemy.  These people are all like robots, hell-bent on doing their master’s bidding; they have no compassion for anyone, period.  Thank God, late in the day yesterday, a Federal Judge intervened and allowed Sarah’s name to be put on the adult donor list.

Q. They have already announced they intend to sign on to the U.N. Arms Treaty, but now not until August.  Why?  (Laird ~ Reno, NV)
A. They figure Congress will not be in session, the furor over the ongoing scandals will be on hold, and that they’ll be able to get away with it without Senate approval.  They have several times made appointments during Congressional vacations in order to avoid the confirmation process; I am not certain that they can sign an international treaty that supersedes our Second Amendment without Senate approval, even if it’s done during Congressional recess.  There will be hell to pay if this sticks.

Q. So, forgetting the mistakes of the past and pressing on to the supposed greater achievements of the future, what kind of a National Security Advisor do you think Susan Rice will make?  (Erik ~ Broomfield, CO)
A. She’ll be totally ineffective.  She’s alienated the press, is not well-liked at the U.N., and isn’t going to get along with Congress one iota.  She has no background in the essentials of the job.  It’s perfectly obvious she got selected as a payback for her covering for Obama on the Benghazi Massacre.
