Teamsters President Jimmy Hoffa exhorted his membership and
the President yesterday to go to war against the American Tea Parties. "We've got to keep an eye on the battle
that we face -- a war on workers. And you see it everywhere. It is the Tea
Party," he said. "And there's only one way to beat and win that war
-- the one thing about working people is, we like a good fight."
COMMENTS:
Everyone remembers scenes of union members intimidating
voters and stirring up trouble at Tea Party events. Hoffa has ratcheted up the rhetoric and is,
in essence, urging physical violence against Tea Party members. He’s also telling the President to get on
board: "President Obama, this is your army, we are ready to march. But everybody here's got to vote. If we go
back, and keep the eye on the prize, let's take these sons of bitches
out." Hoffa should go to jail for
inciting violence and Obama should be impeached because, by his silence, he
condones Hoffa’s actions. Do they want
everyone to take out their guns and start shooting?
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. I am more than a little worried about how technology is
affecting our children. I hear they are
no longer teaching writing, because you have computers and math, because you have
calculators, and now I even hear they are dropping textbooks and going to
I-pads. Won’t that amount to kids losing
their abilities to think and reason? (Myrna ~ Redding, CA)
A. Don’t worry about that; Obama’s minions will take care of
your children for you, so they won’t need to be able to think or reason.
Q. Why do some polls show Obama losing to everyone else and
some show him beating everyone else?
(Merlina ~ San Mateo, CA)
A. Polls vary by who is conducting the poll, how the
questions are worded, and who the audience is that is being polled. Take the Los Angeles Times, for instance. They are a Democrat-oriented newspaper that
will either consciously or subconsciously ask questions slanted toward a left
answer, and their community of readers is largely Democrats. There, you would expect a poll about Obama’s chances
to show him winning against everyone, and it did.
Q. Did I hear that China was selling arms to Gaddafi? (Jeremy ~ Rocklyn, CA)
A. Chinese firms were, but Beijing is claiming they didn’t
know anything about that. Can you
imagine any Chinese arms dealer selling anything to anyone without Beijing’s knowledge
and approval?
TODAY’S QUOTE:
“Labor is prior to, and independent of,
capital. Capital is only the fruit of labor, and could never have existed if
labor had not first existed. Labor is the superior of capital, and deserves
much the higher consideration.” ~ Abraham Lincoln
