MORE BULL ABOUT ECONOMIC RECOVERY

Once again, government officials are running around avowing that the economic recovery has worked and the world is again rosy. Ben Bernancke, a close personal cohort of Tim Geithner, has been leading the charge. It was these two dudes who stampeded Congress and the rest of the country into TARP, bailouts, and stimulus. They say that eight of the Fed's 12 regions surveyed reported some pickup in activity or improved conditions. Those regions were: Boston, New York, Chicago, St. Louis, Minneapolis, Kansas City, Dallas and San Francisco.

COMMENTS:
Unemployment continues to rise. More houses are in delinquency and various stages of foreclosure every day. Retail sales are again sluggish. Not one fact or statistic put out by Washington in the last 11 months has been accurate. Many stories have been purely manufactured bull designed to mislead us about global warming, economic recovery results, the stimulus figures, costs of the health care plan…and the President himself has said that this problem is a “side issue.” That attitude underscores the fact that we cannot trust anything they say and is an open admission of misinformation being provided.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. With a few states now legalizing marijuana for medicinal purposes, where can you learn how to grow it with the best agricultural results?
(Marv – Escondido, CA)
A. Believe it or not, there’s a college in Michigan: http://www.nytimes.com/2009/11/29/education/29marijuana.html?_r=2&th&emc=th

Q. What do you think Obama will come up with in his jobs creation conference this month? (Obie – Mobile, AL)
A. I’ll tell you one thing he won’t come up with: lower taxes, which has historically been proven to create jobs.

Q. I can’t believe they’re going ahead with plans to create a “War Tax.” What’s your opinion?
(Paul – Carson City, NV)
A. They are going to try and couple it with funding for the additional troops in Afghanistan; if the tax bill fails, no funding for the additional troops. I hope it passes and Obama signs off on it. That should be the straw that is needed to get all of the nincompoops run out of office, if not out of the country.
