Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, in speaking at the Copenhagen Climate Summit, promised that the United States would commit $100 billion per year toward helping poor countries resolve global warming issues. Over a ten year period, (the length of the obligation was not stated), this would amount to another $1 trillion or more on the nation’s burgeoning deficit. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who was also in attendance during the session, immediately announced that she would see to it that the commitment will be honored.
COMMENTS:
Don’t these guys have any clue? We are already in debt up to our eyeballs. We can’t take any more of this cavalier spending. And, where do they get off making these kinds of commitments anyway, without Congressional action? It takes a 2/3 majority of the Senate to do this, according to the Constitution, that is.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. I just learned that Howard Dean, Chairman of the National Democratic Party, has come out against passage of the Health Care Bill in the Senate? What does that mean? (Angel – Monarch Beach, CA)
A. Nothing. The Obama Administration and Reid do not pay any attention to Howard Dean; he’s a nobody, a pissant like us. Obama’s response to Dean’s stance was another scare tactic similar to the ones he employed to rush passage of the TARP and Stimulus bills; he says that if this health care bill is not passed immediately, the sky will fall in and the country won’t be able to pay its debt. At this point, it seems to me Obama has nearly exhausted all of his political capital and public charm with his bully tactics.
Q. I saw on TV yesterday that only 22% of Americans think Congress is doing a good job. What does that mean? (Angel – Monarch Beach, CA)
A. This is the first time I have answered two questions from the same person, so you are now a celebrity. It means nothing. Reid and Pelosi are in charge of Congress, not us. As far as they are concerned, 100% of the elite people who matter support Congress. We pissants should not even be polled.
Q. When are they going to release the name of the suspect in the U.S. Bank shooting? (Jim – Burney, CA)
A. They finally did that yesterday and it is not widely reported. His name is Gregorio Enrique Estrada, 46, of Chico. There was a report that one Steven Bautista of Burney was engaged in hand signals with the suspect from outside of the bank. One report had Shasta County deputies speaking with Bautista at the Burney Fire Station and releasing him; it was also reported that deputies were again looking to interview Bautista a second time, but that has not been confirmed and a late Wednesday afternoon Shasta County Sheriff’s Office report shows Estrada as acting alone.

THE OBAMA TERRORIST TRIALS - DAY 35:
Maybe they should put Chuck Schumer on trial as well? Oh, that’s right: “They” can say those things about people they don’t like. We pissants cannot.
