OREGON’S GRINCHES

The State of Oregon has cleaned out all of the bank accounts of the Christian couple who runs a bakery that refused to bake a wedding cake for a lesbian couple.  An Oregon court ruled the couple has to pay $135,000 in damages, but the judgment is under appeal.  The accounts included money set aside by the couple to donate to their church during the holidays.

COMMENTS:
And there we know what evil lurks in the hearts and minds of the government.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Doesn’t I.S.I.S. fear anyone?  (Chester ~ Las Vegas, NV)
A. Israel.

Q. What is your opinion on the Tamir Rice case?  (Carlos ~ Reno, NV)
A. I can only go by the video because I wasn’t sitting on the grand jury.  From what I observed, the cops saw the kid pull a gun and they shot him.  They had no way of knowing it was a harmless toy and they had the right to defend themselves and any other citizens in the area.  I stand with the grand jury decision not to indict.

Q. Now we have another cyber-attack, this time involving names, addresses and birthdates of 191 million voters. (Geraldo ~ Rio Linda, CA)
A. We don’t know that the information was hacked, but we know that it was there for the taking, according to the security expert who discovered it.  What is scary is the information includes party registration and voting information; this sets the stage for the government to retaliate against those who vote against them.

HILLARY WAS WARNED IN ADVANCE ABOUT SECURITY BREACHES

Emails released over the weekend indicate that Hillary Clinton and her staffers were warned about the security risks involved with the continued use of their cell phones, but that they pointedly ignored those warnings. http://www.newsmax.com/TomFitton/Hillary-Clinton-FBI-State-Dept-/2015/12/22/id/706827/

COMMENTS:

Obama and Clinton think exactly alike… that rules are made for everyone else and they are above the law.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:

Q. I heard that Michelle is being sued.  Do you know the details?  (Jimmy ~ Dallas, TX)
A. There have been persistent allegations that she misspent and overspent taxpayer money or her 2010 trip to Spain.  Although a FOIA was filed by Judicial Watch, the government has steadfastly refused access to the files.  Judicial Watch has now filed suit.  I don’t know that she’s yet been served; she’s out of town on another vacation.

Q. Do you think Rahm Emanuel will resign as Mayor of Chicago?  (Stella ~ Reno, NV)
A. He needs to get out of the way, because he has become the focal point of justifiable anger on the part of the Black community there.  Obama, who loves snakes, will hire him back in a split-second.

Q. What do you think of Obama’s plans to require background checks for everyone who sells guns?  (Giles ~ Socorro, NM)
A. So, I have a stash of weapons and I make my money selling them to people who can’t pass a background check themselves.  Do you think for one second that I’m going to go have a background check performed on me?  All this does is to lay one more layer of bureaucracy on people who follow the law; it does nothing to stem the flow of illegal guns to felons and others who are not legally entitled to have guns.  How asinine can you get, especially when the feds are not enforcing the laws that are already on the books?

TODAY’S QUOTE:

” When we’re dealing with things like, terrorism, we’re all going to have different opinions on how to do it—how to deal with it. Mine happens to be that, I think there’s a very strong reason the Founding Fathers had for the Second Amendment. And that is that no government ever hasn’t had to fight its own people, and its own people hasn’t had to fight its own government. We had our Civil War. If that Second Amendment hadn’t have been there, those people wouldn’t have had the opportunity to do what they considered defending their life, their way, their style of living. So I agree with that. I think that’s an important part of our existence. It’s basically that simple.” ~ Kurt Russell

LIGHTS OUT?

The Associated Press is reporting that about a dozen times in the last decade, sophisticated foreign hackers have gained enough remote access to control the operations networks that keep the lights on, according to top experts who spoke only on condition of anonymity due to the sensitive nature of the subject matter.

COMMENTS:
We know that foreign hackers have gained access to American computers used by major businesses and the government alike, causing massive breaches of confidential information.  Computers control virtually everything these days: from your automobiles; to the transmissions of natural gas, electricity and water; to commerce; to emergency services… you name it.  The technology of information systems has exploded so fast that it has been virtually impossible to design and implement security safeguards fast enough.  We’re at danger, and we need to make it a national priority to address this issue ASAP.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. You haven’t said much about Paul Ryan’s ramrodding that $1.1 trillion spending bill thought the House that gave Obama and his thugs everything they wanted.  (Tracy ~ Campbell, CA)
A. It was an overt act of betrayal and serves to underscore my position that every Member of Congress needs to be replaced.  He’s proven himself to be part of the lying, spinning and untrustworthy “establishment” that needs to be totally dismantled before Americans can have any hope of straightening things out.

Q. I’m so worried that Obama will release all of the terrorists from Guantanamo and let them go back to killing us.  It doesn’t seem to me that Congress is going to stop them.  What can we do?  (Zen ~ West Jordan, UT)
A. Pray for the Pentagon; they’ve been stalling and doing everything else they can to prevent what you fear from happening.  I personally believe that Obama exhibits countless traits of being a traitor.

Q. Trump says Trey Gowdy’s Benghazi hearings were a disaster.  What’s your opinion?  (Buster ~ Auburn, CA)
A. The hearings have been going on and on and on and what has come of them?

I.S.I.S. THREATENS ISRAEL

In a lengthy diatribe issued Saturday, I.S.I.S. said it is “getting closer to Israel.”

COMMENTS:
I don’t know why we’re concerned about Israel’s safety.  I mean, after all, I.S.I.S. is just a “J.V. team.”  The fact is that I.S.I.S. despises both Israel and the U.S. and it wants to draw us into a ground conflict; what better way to accomplish that than to attack Israel?  On the other hand, do we really think that Obama gives a hoot about Israel?

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Do I understand that gays are now allowed to donate blood?  (Roger ~ Pismo Beach, CA)
A. The issue has always been about the ability for gay men to transmit the AIDS virus to each other through their sexual activities; once in the bloodstream, the virus could then easily be transmitted into the general population through blood donations.  The U.S. Food and Drug Administration last week announced the change: instead of a lifetime ban on donating blood, the policy in place for about 30 years, these men will be barred from giving blood for 12 months after their last sexual contact with another man. I would therefore presume that the associated danger expires at midnight on the 30th day of the 11th month following sexual activity.  Figure that one out.

Q. Why are the NRA and gun owners so dead-set against “smart-gun” technology for handguns?  (Millie ~ Helena, MT)
A. Because smart guns are not smart; they’re dumb.  Handguns are essentially made for self-defense.  Smart gun technology requires the user to wear a wrist watch type of contraption that communicates with the hand gun to say, “Let this guy shoot, he’s legit.”  If you’re incapacitated, your boyfriend or husband can’t pick up your gun to defend you.  If the battery goes dead in either the “watch” or the gun or if the signal doesn’t work, you’re dead.  And if you’re going to go to bed at night with the handgun on your nightstand, it’s useless unless you go to bed with the heavy and cumbersome wrist attachment on you.  In other words, it renders your self-defense to be very unreliable.

Q. What’s all of the ruckus about Sam’s Club?  (Dale ~ Willard, UT)
A. Their CEO doesn’t seem to want to do business with suppliers that have all white or all male management.  Rosalind Brewer has openly said she prefers to hire black women.  The color of people’s skin and their sexual orientation are more important than what they give to the company, in her eyes anyways. There's been a call for a boycott of the chain.

FRANKLIN GRAHAM QUITS GOP

Franklin Graham, president and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, said Monday that he’s had it with the Republican Party and announced that he changed his political affiliation from Republican to Independent.  The final straw for the evangelist was last week’s Congressional approval of the $1.1 trillion omnibus spending bill.

COMMENTS:
Finally, someone from the religious sector of the country has had the guts to stand up against “politics as usual.”  I quit the Republican Party myself after the 2012 elections.  The GOP should quit putting on pretenses and simply fold itself into the Democrat Party.  Let those who disagree form a new party, the Patriot Party of America.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. I still can’t believe that Bush says he is uncomfortable being in the lead.  (Virginia ~ Napa, CA)
A. He’s like Obama, I guess… wants to lead from behind.

Q. Come on now, you have to agree that if we were able to get rid of all guns in the country, including those owned by criminals, the country would be a lot safer place.  (Red ~ Park City, UT)
A. Guns are not the problem; the people who use guns for violence will, as I’ve said consistently, resort to other methods if you take away their guns.  Take China, for instance, where there have been strict rules to prevent any of the populace from having guns for years.  Their violent crime still exists in the form of stabbings… even mass killings using knives.  So, the answer is not gun confiscation, which simply puts the citizens at the mercy of their government, but attacking the underlying reasons of violence in general.

Q. Iranian hackers took control of a dam near New York City in 2013 and the government has been keeping a lid on it.  Why?  (Genevieve ~ Red Bluff, CA)
A. We were ramping up talks with Iran on their nuclear weapons program and it didn’t fit the White House narrative at the time.  This president will only allow the press and media to tell us what he wants them to; nothing more and nothing less, even if it’s a lie.

TODAY’S QUOTE:
“If the president held a press conference tomorrow and directed every federal jurisdiction to round up every felon with a gun, drug dealer with a gun and criminal gangbanger with a gun, law enforcement would have thousands of violent thugs in handcuffs and squad cars by sundown.  Instead, he waits for a crime that fits his agenda… and blames the NRA.  Mr. President we will not accept the blame for your failure.” ~ Wayne LaPierre, NRA
