A briefing of Congressional delegates was to be conducted yesterday by officials from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and the National Counter-terrorism Center, but several key Republicans said they knew nothing about it and had not been invited. The officials were expected to brief members of the congressional leaders' staffs, as well as the House Intelligence Committee, Foreign Affairs Committee, Armed Services Committee, and the defense and foreign operations appropriations subcommittees, according to NEWSMAX.

Now, what’s this all
about?
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. I thought Obama’s stance [yesterday] regarding terrorism was
a whole lot tougher than it has even been before. Do you agree, and why the change now? (Lucas ~ Palo Alto, CA)
A. I have consistently said in the past, “Pay no attention
to what he says and pay attention to
what he does.” I for one turn off the tube whenever he
speaks, because I don’t want to waste my time listening to outright lies and
spins from crooked politicians. The only
reason he sounds that way is because the press, the Democrats and the Americans
are getting damned worried about terrorism and his lackluster response. That’s why when he putts, he always comes up
short because he’s afraid if he putts the whole distance, he might miss.
Q. I understand that a lawyer who worked for Lois Lerner in
the I.R.S. has “disappeared?” (Gigi ~
Menlo Park, CA)
A. After leaving the I.R.S., he went to work in the office
of the White House Counsel, then was transferred to the Justice
Department. We understand that he no
longer works there and the Justice Department is flatly refusing to say where
he is. Congressional officials believe
he has important knowledge about the details of Lerner’s anti-conservative
targeting operations. Wherever he is, he’s
likely to be among State Department witnesses regarding the Benghazi massacre.
Q. What is the story about a “secret project” Lerner was
working on for the White House? (Henley
~ Spokane, WA)
A. The I.R.S. obtained donor lists from various Tea Party
and other conservative groups. The
illegally obtained lists of people who opposed Obama and his reelection were
then allegedly forwarded on to the White House.
There is no truth to the rumor that the White House intended to invite
people on the list to have a beer with Barry and Joe in the White House Rose
Garden.
