No play on words intended, there seems to be a huge move on in this country to whitewash American history. Not only is the Confederate Flag being removed from museums, flagpoles and license plates, but the State of Georgia is now dead set on removing all references to Confederate Memorial Day and Robert E. Lee from its history books and annual calendars.
COMMENTS:
And I don’t suppose there will be any discussion about
George Washington owning slaves, either.
The first thing we know, Obama is going to go down in history as being
the best president this country has ever had and his mug will end up at Mount
Rushmore. As long as we’re so diligently
changing history here, why don’t we just pretend that the Constitution of the
United States never existed?
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. I heard that the V.A. has started to dump patient
records? (Ginger ~ Laguna Beach, CA)
A. It has happened at at least one V.A. Hospital, although
administrators there are saying it was an “accident.” The Hot Springs campus of the VA Black Hills
Health Care System in South Dakota unceremoniously shoved some 1,100 patient
records into a dumpster, including social security numbers and dates of
birth. They are saying it happened
during a ”move,” and was unintended.
Now, how long do you suppose the 1,100 patients have been waiting for an
appointment?
Q. What was and what is the skinny on… Seal Team 6? (Floyd ~ Las Vegas, NV)
A. Seal Team 6 was a
Navy team on a helicopter and on its way to capture a top Taliban leader in Afghanistan about four
years ago. It went down killing all 38 on
board and the families of those killed have been trying to get answers from the
government ever since. In a statement to
The Washington Times, the families say that the administration has ignored a
court order to turn over documents relating to the helicopter crash. The court order was the result of a public
records lawsuit filed by Freedom Watch. Some of those on board were involved in
the capture and killing of Osama Bin Laden, and there is scuttlebutt floating
around that the enemy knew they were on that chopper due to an intelligence
leak.
Q. I just read that they’ve found evidence that Shakespeare
smoked pot? (Mina ~ Fernley, NV)
A. Yes, which explains why nobody can understand his
writings.
