TRUMP TAKES ON MEGYN KELLY

FOX NEWS’ Roger Ailes is demanding that Donald Trump apologize for new attacks on evening host Megyn Kelly.  "Donald Trump rarely apologizes, although in this case, he should."

COMMENTS:
Everyone knows that Kelly deliberately crossed the line when she set Trump up during the first presidential debate with a loaded question.  That led to Trump’s verbal attack on her later that night and the next day, but Trump and Ailes had evidently buried the hatchet until Monday night when Trump tweeted that Kelly is a “bimbo” and no journalist.  Well, I like FOX NEWS because I think that it IS fair and balanced.  But, I see Kelly as having an unjustified vendetta against Trump, and in this case I’m siding with Trump.  The other side of the coin is that FOX is very powerful in the news business and it appears willing to use that power in an attempt to discredit Trump, and that could give Trump some grief.  This I do know: If FOX is going to allow political agendas to taint its product, it is about to take a very precipitous fall from grace in my book.  Besides, as I said at the time, if I’d been Trump, I wouldn’t have accepted Ailes’ apology in the first place.  It should be noted that Kelly had several guests on her show last night who belittled and denigrated Trump.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Anything new with North Korea?  The news outlets aren’t talking about it.  They’re too busy with Clinton and Trump.  (Baily ~ Malibu, CA)
A. Not only has Kim Jong-Un ordered his military to alert status, he’s telling those stationed along the border with South Korea to be in a “semi-war state.”  All it would take would be for an accidental firing of a weapon or a misunderstood order and we’ll have full scale war.  And if the wind is blowing right, I wouldn’t put it past the sawed-off little runt to use a nuke or two.  These are indeed scary times.

Q. Chuck E Cheese is refusing to serve cops who are wearing their guns?  (Wendy ~ Elk Grove, IL)
A. In Bowling Green, Kentucky, that seems to be the case.  The officer was wearing an officially marked police polo shirt at the time.  That has to be the dumbest move since Hillary announced her candidacy for president.  Let’s assume the officer was actually a thug or terrorist.  He’s carrying a gun; would you deny him service?  Management of the company says it was an unfortunate mistake.  Maybe they should be paying the clerk $15.00 an hour for his smarts?

Q. Is there ever going to be an investigation into that horrible dumping of toxic waste at a mine under control of the EPA?  (Mariana ~ Cheyenne, WY)
A. Congress wants some documents from the EPA regarding the tragedy, but the EPA just told Congress where they can stick their request.
