The Chairman of the Nobel Prize Committee, who had been on
the job less than a year when they conferred the Nobel Peace Prize on Barack
Obama, has been demoted. He was widely
condemned in 2009 when his committee bestowed the prestigious award on
then-newly sworn-in President Barack Obama.
