The Federal Bureau of Investigation is asking Congress to
outlaw encryption of emails, internet communications and telephone calls. Encryption is a method of altering the digital
contents so that only the person on the receiving end can understand the
message. It is used widely to thwart
hackers and scammers, but the FBI says encryption enables terrorists and crooks
to communicate without fear of their messages being intercepted by law
enforcement.
COMMENTS:
Just as there is nothing in the Constitution that specifies
what language I must communicate in, so is there nothing to prevent me from
using codes or encryption. Where are the
Navajo Code Talkers when you need them?
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Iran is jerking Obama and Kerry around like the imbeciles
they truly are. Are we going to end up
with a deal that gives them nukes and removes sanctions? (Terry ~ Danville, CA)
A. Although it might not happen today, I think that is what
Kerry and Obama ultimately have in mind. They will do anything possible to
avoid a showdown with Iran while upsetting Israel at the same time. Now, you may think their attitudes constitute
political suicide, but there’s not a soul in this country who has had the guts
and fortitude to stand up to them yet, with the exception of Joe Wilson, of
course.
Q. What’s your opinion of the DEA agents getting caught
having sex parties paid for by members of the Columbian drug cartels? (Manny ~ North Las Vegas, NV)
A. I’m disappointed that they didn’t buy American. Frankly, we have the president and Secretary
of State on the verge of letting Iran have its nukes and we’re worried about
sex parties? We need to get our priorities
straight.
Q. I can’t believe the audacity of Obama to take off to Florida
and play golf while the Middle East is descending in flames.
(Garza ~ Yuma, AZ)
A. That golf outing cost the U.S. taxpayers almost $1
million. The analogy is this: Nero
fiddled while Rome burned; Obama golfs while the Middle East burns.

proven by their frequent inability to count past five.” ~ John Updike
