U.S. District Judge Andrew Hanensharply has scolded a
Justice Department attorney at a hearing on President Obama's immigration
executive actions, suggesting that the administration misled him on a key part
of the program and that he fell for it, "like an idiot." The
judge had asked the Department of Justice not to go forward with deportation
reprieves to thousands of young illegal immigrants brought to the U.S. as
children while he reviewed his options. In
fact, federal officials had already given more than 108,000 people three-year
reprieves before that date and granted them work permits under the program and
did not so advise him.
COMMENTS:
He even went so far as to ask the DOJ attorney whether or
not he could trust the president to keep his word. Now, that was a dumb question in my
opinion. We are all astutely aware of
Obama’s honesty and integrity in making and keeping promises… aren’t we?
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. I see Obama wants to make voting in America
mandatory. I thought this was a free
country. (Lana ~ Hyrum, UT)
A. It is. Now, shut up and
do as he says.
Q. The Presbyterian Church is talking about sanctifying
marriage between gays. Your
opinion? (Tripp ~ Logandale, NV)
A. Evidently, hypocrites exist everywhere. I have a difficult time with anyone or any religion that
presumes to have the authority to change the writings of the Bible. They might as well sanctify stealing and
murder while they’re at it.
Q. What do you think about the disclosure that over 60,000
illegals, in prison for other crimes, have been silently released onto American
streets? (Phil ~ Las Vegas, NM)
A. Don’t forget to turn in your guns. Listen: Obama can do anything he wants. If you or your Congressional representative
won’t do something about it, just who will?
