"On healthcare, there are certainly some lines I'm going to draw," Obama said in his White House press conference Wednesday. "Repeal of the law, I won't sign." The president said he also would resist efforts to weaken the law piecemeal as Republicans have suggested, including getting rid of the individual mandate.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. What do you think Obama is going to say to Congressional
leaders when they meet Friday? (Larry ~
Pleasanton, CA)
A. “You guys might think you’re hot shit, but I don’t really
care what you or the American people think or want because I’m still the
President.” Now, he may not use those
exact words, but he’s already made it clear that’s what he means. And the Republicans had better find a way to
deal with it strongly and firmly, or their party will be over and it’ll be time
to turn out the lights.
Q. Do you really think there was a possibility of election
fraud on November 4th? (Celia
~ Albuquerque, NM)
A. Not only do I think there was a possibility, I would be flabbergasted
under the circumstances to discover it did not actually happen; and given the
actions and attitude of the White House and the Department of Justice, I’d have
to say it was by design. Reporter James
O’Keefe successfully voted under 20 different names without showing any
identification. If I have to show I.D.
to purchase cough medicine, I sure as hell should have to show I.D. to vote
unless, of course, I’m a Democrat.
Q. Being such an avid gun owner and so insistent on Second
Amendment rights, are there any restrictions at all that you could live
with? (Dana ~ Peoria, IL)
A. I believe that those with concealed carry permits should be
allowed to carry a gun virtually anywhere including on airlines IF the airline
is made aware of it and authenticates the permit. Otherwise, guns do not belong on planes, in
prisons, or in the hands of children, mentally disturbed people, felons or
tadpoles. By the way, TSA screeners
found 181 undeclared guns in carry-on bags last month; 157 of them were loaded. That’s outrageous and those idiots should
have their gun rights suspended until they take extensive gun-handling
training.
TODAY’S QUOTE:
“We understand the reluctance to commit U.S. ground troops
to more combat after years of war.
However, we also understand the brutality and threat that this group represents. No war has ever been won without boots on the
ground, and U.S. troops are the best troops on the ground anywhere. We should not eliminate the possibility.” ~
Mike Helm, American Legion National Commander
