NASA has broken off all relations with the Russian Space
Agency. The letter to the Russian government states: “This suspension includes
NASA travel to Russia and visits by Russian Government representatives to NASA
facilities, bilateral meetings, email, and teleconferences or videoconferences.”
COMMENTS:
Does this mean that our astronauts are no longer allowed to
speak with Russian astronauts on the International Space Station? Tit for tat… What if Putin decides to throw
U.S. astronauts off the I.S.S.? Why in the
dumb Sam Hell do you make this move when we have two astronauts sharing space
with Russia? Forget the fact that it
politicizes the I.S.S.; supposing they refuse to return our astronauts to
Earth? Are we going to have a tea in the
Rose Garden?
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Why didn’t Obama come out and make another call for a gun
ban after the second Ft. Hood shooting yesterday? (Cornell ~ Rock Springs, WY)
A. Because the shooting will be seized upon by the press for
the next week or so, taking away from Benghazi probes and ObamaCare
shortcomings. He needs the focus to
change and calling for a gun ban would just exacerbate every single thing that
his Administration has screwed up, which is an endless list.
Q. What do you think of Mike Morell’s testimony about
Benghazi on the Hill? (Archie ~ Ogden, UT)
A. Morell has obviously agreed to fall on the sword in order
to save the Obama Administration. He
said that it was his decision to take the word of those back home in the United
States over the word of his top CIA chief in Libya at the time and to call the
massacre the result of that infamous nasty anti-Muslim video. No one in his right mind would take the world
of politicians back home over experienced field personnel on the scene. In other words, he lied; he lied under oath. Let’s see what the House does now.
Q. Now there’s another change in the information about the
Malaysian 777 regarding who said what last.
That is coupled with statements to the effect that we may never know
what happened to this plane. What’s your
reaction? (Clark ~ Kent, WA)
A. Yesterday, I changed my opinion to 50-50 that the plane
was in Pakistan. I’ll now change it to
70% the plane is in the control of some terrorist agents planning some
nefarious act. It may be in Pakistan, Iran…
even Yemen. I am 70% of the opinion it is not
at the bottom of the Indian Ocean, based on everything I’ve heard and
read.
