COMPUTERS HACKED!

On the inside of personal computers, there is a special chip that provides security to millions of computers. With this chip and computing encryption, government agencies around the world keep our national secrets safe and businesses keep our personal information secure. But, a former U.S. Army computer-security specialist has devised a way to break those locks. The attack can force even heavily secured computers to release documents presumed to be safe. This discovery shows one way that spies and other richly financed attackers can acquire military and trade secrets, comes as worries about state-sponsored computer espionage intensify, and follows a White House directive to national security agencies to cut China some technological slack.

COMMENTS:
Once again, the media is doing us the big favor of keeping the big news of the day to themselves. Maybe they should be in charge of national security, because they’re certainly not cluing us in on much.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. I see the stock market is below 10,000 again. (Damon ~ Fairfax, VA)
A. Unfortunately, you ain’t seen nothin’ yet. I believe that, if you’re not out of the market right now, you should be. By that, I don’t mean standing out in front of Wal-Mart, either…

Q. The Tea Party had a big convention over the weekend and not many of the major networks had any news about it. How come? (Dixie ~ Chula Vista, CA)
A. America’s news reporters and left-wing media outlets are not particularly fond of the Tea Party movement. But, with the number of both Democrats and Republicans getting involved, the movement is not going to dry up and blow away, as Mr. Obama would prefer. He can have his Progressives and we will have our Tea Party. And, if the Tea Party has its way, the end to “Politics as Usual” is indeed on the way. I sent them some money on Saturday.

Q. The crime trend in the United States is going down. Do you have any idea why? (Kirk ~ Barstow, CA)
A. More and more private citizens are buying guns and ammo, and they're learning how to use them.

TODAY’S QUOTE: (Tell this to Obama?)
“Above all, I would teach him to tell the truth. Truth-telling, I have found, is the key to responsible citizenship. The thousands of criminals I have seen in 40 years of law enforcement have had one thing in common: Every single one was a liar.” ~ J. Edgar Hoover
