ANOTHER INCUMBENT RUNS FOR THE HILLS

Another Member of Congress has announced that he will not seek reelection. Adding his name to a rapidly growing list of Republicans and Democrats, Indiana Senator Evan Bayh announced yesterday that he basically does not like what Congress has become and that he doesn’t want any more to do with it.

COMMENTS:

If they were smart, they’d all announce they’re not running again, because they are likely to get their clocks cleaned in the primaries or in November. They have collectively been doing a great disservice to America for years, and we are sick and tired of it. Please pass the TUMS.

A. Not a chance. Biden’s too dumb and Cheney’s too smart.

Q. I hear that a climate scientist has come out and said that there has been no evidence of global warming for at least 15 years. What now? (LaVonne ~ San Jose, CA)
A. The White House will probably try to discredit him. I don’t think he is likely to be invited to any White House dinners, either. If Obama and Gore say there is global warming, then by God, there is global warming. Hand me a snow shovel, will you?


Q. The Iranian situation seems to be heating up. How do you think Hillary Clinton is doing? (Lee ~ Carmel, CA)
A. I’m certainly not a fan of Hillary Clinton, but I do have to say that I think she’s been doing a much better job than I expected and she’s doing it under tough circumstances. Kudus.
