House Speaker Paul Ryan spouted off about the U.S. Army
Corps of Engineers denying permission for the Dakota Access Pipeline to proceed
underneath a lake which supplies water to the Standing Rock Indian Tribe. He said that he looks "forward to
putting this anti-energy presidency behind us."
COMMENTS:
We all agree that we need energy, Congressman. But, were this pipeline to go through or near
the water supply sources of Janesville, Wisconsin, I’ll bet the tune would be
different. He sounds just like a loony
Democrat who doesn’t give a damn about anyone’s life but his own.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Why do you think Donald Trump called Al Gore in for a
meeting? (Buzz ~ Shasta Lake City, CA)
A. It’s getting cold in New York City and Trump decided to
call in an expert on global warming to help things out? Maybe it wasn’t Trump’s idea… like, maybe Al
wanted to lobby for the Secretary of State job.
Or, more likely, Al owed the Donald some money on a past due debt and
Donald wanted to collect.
Q. Do you think Justin Ross Harris, who was just convicted for
leaving his 22-month-old son in the back seat of his car on a broiling hot day,
was really guilty? (Marna ~ Atlanta, GA)
A. Absolutely, and from the sound of his wife who stood up
for him, she may have been in on it. He
deserves life in a Yuma prison cell without air conditioning.
Q. So, this veteran is admitted to a V.A. hospital with an
infection. While there, he became infested
with maggots? That’s disgusting. (Chip ~ Portland, ME)
A. But it seems to be acceptable to Obama, who has said
nothing about it and who has done absolutely nothing to resolve the problems at
the V.A.
