VA KICKS OUT FLORIDA STATE INVESTIGATORS

When news spread about an increase of deaths at Veteran hospital across the U.S., Florida Governor Rick Scott send a delegation of state health inspectors to review records and conditions at a Riviera Beach, Florida VA hospital; they were unceremoniously tossed out on their ears.  The Department of Veterans Affairs shot down a Freedom of Information Act request earlier this year by The Tampa Tribune, claiming it could not reveal the locations of all the hospitals where the Florida deaths occurred because the documentation was still “preliminary.” The Tribune did report, however, that the Sunshine Healthcare Network recorded the second-highest number of patient deaths or injuries nationwide over a two-year span between 2009 and 2011.

COMMENTS:
Evidently, the VA doesn’t want Florida State Agency for Health Care Administration officials sticking their noses into VA affairs, regardless of how many veterans die.  Here’s another incidence of crappy treatment of our Veterans by an uncaring Obama Government that, under the circumstances, should be welcoming all of the help it can get.  We’d probably discover that the hospital quit using sanitary procedures in order to save money for ObamaCare.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. What do you think of the news that they have located the missing Malaysian 777?  (LeRoy ~ Reno, NV)
A. Although it’s not totally confirmed yet, it looks as if this might be the real thing.  That will bring closure to the families and a big sigh of relief from those of us who have been concerned about a potential air strike against New York City.  It may be a long time before we find out the cause.

Q. I see Holder blew up at his Congressional hearing the other day and Kerry went after McCain.  Are the big bad losers of the Democratic Party now in the snarling dog attack mode?  (Jamie ~ Sun City, ID)
A. Whenever they start getting heat for their manipulative lies and anti-American ways, all Obamacrats turn into pit bulls.  I seldom agree with McCain, but he nailed Kerry dead-to-rights over our foreign policy and Kerry had a royal hissy fit.  Holder got his back up when he was nailed about his consistent lack of cooperation over so many things.  Perhaps a good dose of Ex-Lax would solve their problems.

Q. Can you imagine Al Sharpton as being an informant for the FBI?  (Wendy ~ Lakeport, CA)
A. When it comes to far-left-wing-radical-Democrats, nothing amazes me anymore.  These are the guys who inspect New York tanning salons more often than abortion clinics.  These are the guys who want to ban cigarette smoking and to legalize marijuana smoking.  If they had any brains, they’d truly be dangerous.  If WE had any brains, we’d run their condemnable buns out of the country.
