President Trump will meet head-to-head with Russia’s Vladimir Putin at the G-20 Summit in Hamburg next week for the very first time.

Once that news was released, almost all of the water mains in Washington DC nearly collapsed as all of “The Establishment,” the left-wing Demos and the liberal press headed for the commodes at the same time.  Or, as we say out West… “They’re all atwitter.”

I liked Van Susteren.  I thought her reporting was unbiased and “right on.”  I was sorry to see her leave FOX NEWS and am equally sorry that she couldn’t garner ratings at MSNBC; but then again, who watches that trashy network anyway?  As for Kelly… she needs to get back to the very foundation of journalism and to the roots of her initiation into the field.  A few weeks at humility school wouldn’t hurt, either.  She’s getting the rewards of the insolent seeds she has sown.

Surely you jest.  Yes, the Russian-Trump thing has finally evolved into the nothing that it always was.  But, don’t forget that Robert Mueller is now investigating Trump for obstruction of justice, albeit regarding the Trump-Russian “thing” that never existed.  Do you suppose those “never Trumpers” and left-wing Democrats are going to reimburse the taxpayers for this horrendous waste of money?   

Q. I read a short blurb about Trump’s EPA lifting all restrictions on clean water, which means we are likely to have contaminated water in our domestic systems?  (Simone ~ Pacifica, CA)

A. You seem to believe what you read without question, and with today’s media and press that is a dangerous practice.  Number one, all domestic water systems in the country have to meet strict requirements as to the removal of potential pollutants and bacteria from their water; regular inspections are made to ascertain that is being done.  Number two, the regulation that is being dropped was so restrictive that a puddle of urine from a cow on a rancher’s lot constituted a body of water that was subject to EPA regulations.  You’re being misled by the liberal media.

FINALLY: THE SUPREME COURT GETS IT RIGHT

The Supreme Court ruled yesterday that the majority of Trump’s temporary travel ban can go into effect now and that they will hear oral arguments on the matter this fall. 

COMMENTS:

The ruling is indicative that they agree with the President’s authority and decision to implement the temporary restrictions.  Since the 90-day ban will have essentially expired when the Court resumes hearings in October, and since the security of the country is at stake, the decision was absolutely correct and a welcome sign that judicial activism may be in its waning days.

Q. Just like the House Health Care Bill, I’m having serious misgivings over the Senate version.  Have you formed an opinion yet?  (Max ~ Palm Springs, CA)

A. I agree with you whole-heartedly.  The CBO released its conclusions yesterday and said it will leave another 22 million uninsured and slash Medicaid.  I keep hearing the same old song and dance; in order for us to get this passed at all, we have to placate all of the Republicans because we won’t get even one lousy vote from the Democrats.  In essence, they’re saying we have to accept something we don’t like, or ObamaCare is going to be totally imploded by the end of the year.  I’m not in favor of “something is better than nothing” in this instance.  Since the Dems totally refuse to come to the table, let them eat the blame for ObamaCare and let’s see how many of them get reelected in 2018. It's time to quite being nice and polite.

A. A pro-Trump Black took Waters on by blaming her, her wide-open borders policy and sanctuary city activism for causing high unemployment among California’s Blacks.  Waters responded like Democrats always do… she walked out.  They just can’t stand it when somebody tells them like it really is.

ARE COPS THE BAD GUYS?

There has been a lot written and graphically shown about bad cops in the United States; this led, inevitably, to the Black Lives Matter movement. 

COMMENTS:

When you examine the facts, things change.  There are nearly 950,000 cops in the U.S., not to mention fish and game wardens, border patrol agents and ICE officers, FBI agents…. Yet, less than 1,000 people were fatally shot by police in 2105.  That’s about .1% of cops, (the guys who are most likely to respond to violent situations), being involved in such shootings.  But, there was a huge public outcry against cops, the end result being that cops are now afraid to get anywhere near a potential shooting scenario… particularly in Black neighborhoods.  And so it is that many of the same people who were screaming that cops were the bad guys are now asking why no cops patrol their neighborhoods.

Haven’t read it or much about it.  I do understand it is simply a glorified version of the House Bill and further evidence that the GOP’s just can’t succeed no matter how little they try!  At this point, I’d just as soon they put it on the back burner and let ObamaCare and its abject failures eat the Democrats alive, because they deserve it.

A. I think he knew it a very long time ago and, being the gentleman that he is, expected they would be smart and let him get on with his Presidency.  He’s given them every chance and now understands they are all so delusional and in so much denial that there’s no redeemable hope for them.  I think they're in for a big surprise.

OBAMA STEPS INTO A TRAP

President Trump says he never taped the Comey conversations.  Obama’s attorney responds that Trump is therefore guilty of attempting to intimidate a witness… James Comey, by suggesting that there might be tapes. 

COMMENTS:

Well, if James Comey intended to testify with veracity, why would he be intimidated by the possibility that the conversation was taped?  The only possible answer is that Comey wanted to testify to something that wasn’t said and that, my friends, is irrefutable proof that they are even prepared to lie under oath in order to take this President down.

Q. I heard that the nation’s 911 system is in deep peril?  (Haroon ~ Southfield, MI)

A. Their computer systems are antiquated, for one thing.  For another, there are tons of people out there with cell phones that have their locations turned off, so responders have no idea as to where the emergency is occurring.  Many call centers are short-staffed.  The ability to communicate between agencies and between jurisdictions is almost non-existent in some areas.  These are just a few of the problems facing the system today. 

Q. Is the Dakota Access Pipeline stalled again?  (Garnet ~ Sunnyvale, CA)

A. A Federal District Judge is allowing some Native American Tribes to join in a lawsuit claiming the Corps of Engineers did not adequately assess potential environmental damages or damages to fishing and hunting rights in the event of a spill.  Now, I’m totally behind their position, but I am ticked off at what condition they left the land in there when they stopped their protests.

Q. They say there are over a million illegals who are using stolen Social Security numbers?  (Forona ~ Monterey, CA)

A. Yes, around 1.4 million of them.  And a major problem is that when DHS and ICE encounter an illegal and they suspect he/she is using a stolen Social Security number, they cannot legally check it out with the IRS.  Of course, they don’t fill out tax returns, so many citizens are being tackled by the IRS for not paying enough taxes on their incomes… incomes they didn’t know about.
