Native American Tribes and environmentalists, camped out for
months in support of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe’s attempt to block the
Dakota Access Pipe Line, left behind mountains of garbage and human waste;
according to various reports, as many as 2,500 dump trucks are being required
to remove the mess. With the ending of
the winter months approaching, there is a strong possibility that spring
flooding could wash this waste into the Missouri River, polluting it and other
waterways which the protestors were allegedly trying to protect. But, that’s not the end of the story; protesters
have also left behind their pets to fend for themselves.
COMMENTS:
I feel betrayed by some of the people I have always
respected most in my life. Words cannot
describe what fools they have made of themselves, what support they have lost
among those of us who cared or what cruelty they have exhibited to poor,
defenseless animals. How can they call
themselves “Native Americans” and “environmentalists?”

thousands of employees? (Freddie ~

TODAY’S QUOTE:
“I do not support raising the
minimum wage, and the reason is as follows:
When the minimum wage is raised, workers are priced out of the
market. That is the economic reality
that seems, at least so far, to be missing from this discussion.” ~ John Sununu
