Those ten sailors on two boats who drifted into Iranian
waters and were detained by Iran are now safely back in U.S. hands, according
to Secretary of State John Kerry. Kerry,
speaking jubilantly in a presidential tone, made it clear that his channels of
communication with Iran were a key ingredient of the expeditious release.
COMMENTS:
Thank God for John Kerry.
He should be president.
Yesiree. Absolutely.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Was there anything of redeeming value in Obama’s
speech? (Myrtle ~ Salt Lake City, UT)
A. No. He continues
to suffer from delusions of grandeur.
Q. Do you think Congress can override Obama’s veto of the
dismantling of ObamaCare and defunding of Planned Parenthood? (Georgia ~ Santa Rosa, CA)
A. They’re evidently going to have a stab at it. Even if that attempt fails, the stage is set
for repeal early in 2017 unless Kerry wins the presidency.
Q. Do you think Sanders can win the Democrat
nomination? (Pai ~ Menlo Park, CA)
A. It scares me to say it, but it is getting more and more
possible every day. Hillary doesn’t know
which way to turn; she’s squirming like a pregnant eel.
