Cornered in a NPR news interview yesterday, President Obama has
already admitted that Iran will be able to get nuclear weapons under his
“deal.” The stark admission, after his
energy secretary claimed the deal was a "forever agreement," came as
the president seeks to quiet a growing chorus questioning whether the deal he
and world leaders have negotiated merely delays the certainty of a
nuclear-armed Iran. Obama has insisted confidently that Iran will not get a
nuclear weapon on his watch, which
ends in roughly 20 months, but has made no similar assurances about his
successors.
COMMENTS:
You can keep your doctor and your plan. And the Iranian version of the “deal” is
entirely different than what Obama and his goons have been touting. The devil is in the details, my friend. I’m sorry to put it this way, but someone has
to: What a lying and conniving piece of
dung we have for a president.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Another Democrat has gone around the bend on gun
control. Rep. Rosa DeLauro is
introducing a bill that would give taxpayers a $2,000 tax credit for turning in
their assault rifles. I suppose every
bad guy in the country is going to turn in his gun collection? (Phil ~ Walla Walla, WA)
A. Rifles of any kind are seldom used in gun crimes. A previous law that was in effect and now
expired for over ten years made little, if any, difference. And regardless of what they’re bellyaching
about, gun violence is currently at a two-decade low… while Americans own more
guns. I think she shot herself in the
foot.
Q. I hear Democrats want Reagan’s name removed from the
Washington, D.C. airport? (Lola ~
Brooklyn, NY)
A. That’s what you call the epitome of bigotry, with which
they all seem to be afflicted. It isn’t
going to happen.
Q. Do you think Congress will invalidate Obama’s Iranian “deal?” (Chaz ~ Salt Lake City, UT)
A. You can expect history to repeat itself: such a bill will clear the House, squeak by
the Senate and get vetoed by the president.
There won’t be enough votes in Congress to override the veto and Obama
will have his way. Congress remains pregnant,
but impotent.
