NEWSMAX
is reporting a rare outbreak of dog flu is reaching epidemic levels in Chicago
and the illness could easily spread to others areas of the country. More than
1,000 dogs have become ill with canine influenza virus (CIV) and at least five
have died since the middle of March, according to the Cook County Department of
Animal and Rabies Control.
COMMENTS:
And I’ll bet you thought this was going to be a story about
Chicago politics, didn’t you? Symptoms of the respiratory disease include lethargy, loss of appetite,
"honking" cough, and fever, and CIV is more severe in dogs less than
a year old and those older than seven. Do
they make Theraflu for doggies?
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Why do you think Iran is changing the game over the
nuclear “deal?” (Matthew ~ Susanville,
CA)
A. (1) Because they know that Obama cannot and will not do
anything about it, and (2) because they are in the final stages of assembling a
nuclear weapon and will have it ready-to-go before the June 30th
deadline. Hmmm… I just noticed…
“deadline” rhymes with “redline.”
Q. Do you think we will ever know the Benghazi story? (Carlota ~ Fort Worth, TX)
A. No. Trey Gowdy and
his boys have been outwitted and out-manipulated by the Obama-Clinton-Holder machine
at every turn. It’s a shame; Gowdy can
talk the talk but, apparently can’t walk the walk.
Q. Why do you think we haven’t heard much noise from North
Korea’s Kim Jong Un lately? (Trevor ~
Alexandria, VA)
A. He’s probably planning to invade South Korea, because he
knows we won’t do anything about it.
