reports that the Clinton Foundation has been put on a “watch” list by CHARITY
NAVIGATOR, a consumer-oriented charity watchdog group. This decision wasn’t made because of the Foundation’s
remarkably lucrative sideline as a uranium superstore for Russia, but because
its finances are opaque and dishonest and because such a tiny amount of the
money it rakes in actually goes to charitable endeavors. “The Clinton family’s
mega-charity took in more than $140 million in grants and pledges in 2013 but
spent just $9 million on direct aid,” notes the New York Post. “The
group spent the bulk of its windfall on administration, travel, and salaries
and bonuses, with the fattest payouts going to family friends.”
COMMENTS:
Only about 5% of the money it takes in is actually reaching
charitable needs. Another 5% appears to
be going to pay for staff, travel, office expenses and… I presume the Clintons
got the change. Gosh… what’ll happen if
they are forced into paying it all back?
Well, you can bet your sweet petunias that if Hillary gets to the White
House, that’ll never happen.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. How do you feel about George W. Bush’s rant on Barack
Obama over the weekend? (Valencia ~
Fairfield, CA)
A. Bush has kept extremely quiet about his White House
successor, to his credit. But, there
comes a time when patriotic Americans are obligated to stand up and speak
out. On the other hand, he really didn’t
say anything you haven’t read on one of my blogs first.
Q. I know there are thousands of people fleeing from
I.S.I.S. And I hear they are being
turned back by some neighboring countries which are not prepared to deal with
the mass needs. Is the U.N. doing
anything about it? (Alvina ~ Springdale, AR)
A. They are working on shipment of about 1 million refugees to
European countries, but the issue is: how do they know if there are terrorists
among the refugees who will go to those European countries and spread I.S.I.S.
ideology there? It’s a “Catch 22.” What gets me is that the world knows damned
well the dangers and atrocities of I.S.I.S. need to be stopped; yet, there
seems to be so much hand-wringing going on.
I wish we had Reagan, Kennedy or Truman back, instead of this jackal we
have now.
Q. What’s this I hear about a protest from Gitmo
detainees? (Ivan ~ Prescott, AZ)
A. Four of them were released to Uruguay and they’re now
demanding a monthly paycheck so they can bring their families there, start new
lives and resettle. Maybe Obama will
kick in a few millions of our dollars to accommodate them.

Put them on the defensive and don’t ever apologize for anything.” ~
