Although the nation has been assured that existing protocols
and procedures for dealing with infectious diseases are more than adequate for
the Ebola crisis, the CDC has now changed its plans. This includes sending rapid response teams to
any hospital treating a confirmed Ebola case.
COMMENTS:
There is also talk of setting up one hospital per state to
handle all Ebola cases within that state, suggesting that CDC is now
considering at least the possibility of a somewhat more widespread
epidemic. One hospital has already objected
to that plan saying that the required investment of personnel and physical improvements
would bankrupt their operation and that the CDC does not seem to be forthcoming
with any financial reimbursements. News came yesterday that a commercial flight
from Africa had landed in Boston with at least five people exhibiting
Ebola-like symptoms, although they were later declared Ebola-free; there was no
justification provided for their being allowed to fly to the U.S. in the first
place. We all know the I.S.I.S. story…
deny, deny, deny and then a sudden plan to start bombing; the bombing is
producing limited results. Does this
mean that all of the sudden Ebola is going to be a crisis that we can’t
handle?
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. What’s your take on the fiancée of Oregon Governor John
Kitzhaber? Shouldn’t he resign? (Bill ~ Ashland, OR)
A. Straight out, he’s a Democrat and therefore resignation
is out of the question. Cylvia Hayes
admitted, after a press story, that she had briefly married an Ethiopian
immigrant for the fraudulent purpose of allowing him to stay in the U.S. It now comes out that she also partnered in
the purchase of some land in Washington State for the purpose of an illegal
marijuana grow. Were the Guv Republican,
he and his fiancée would be run out of the state on a rail; but, he’s an
elitist Democrat and therefore has entitlements of his own not afforded to the
ordinary citizen. The fact that you mention
it is ominous; if Obama hears of it, you will certainly get an income tax audit
and have your ObamaCare cancelled. Shame
on you.
Q. It now turns out that the EPA has very close ties to a
top environmental awareness group and that the group’s influence may be behind
the Administration’s “War on Coal.” What
do you think? (Georgette ~ Boise, ID)
A. Whenever you give a governmental agency an enormous
amount of power, corruption inevitably follows.
The EPA, IRS, BLM, DOJ, Congress and the White House are prime
examples. I have to stop at that…
there’s thee big, dark blue SUV’s out front and a bunch of goons in silk suits
carrying AK-47’s are emerging therefrom.
Q. The government is now warning that “I.S.I.S.-like”
attacks are highly likely in the U.S. Do
you there will be more beheadings? (Ernie ~ Morgan Hill, CA)
A. “More” beheadings?
The one in Oklahoma was not a beheading; it was workplace violence. Actually, it seems that a whole lot of
Senators and Congressmen are already headless.
Yes, I think there will be beheadings in the U.S.
