ANTI-GUNNERS GO AFTER NRA - VISA CONNECTION

Like a multitude of firms and organizations, the NRA offers its clients a Visa Card; purchases made with the credit card, whether made for NRA products or not, provide the NRA an additional source of income.  The Coalition to Stop Gun Violence is now demanding that Visa cut its ties with the NRA.

COMMENTS:
This is a common tactic of socialist left-wingers; if you can’t win an argument on its merit, you try to cut your opponents’ legs out from under them by any means possible.  If Visa falls into this trap, they’re going to lose a lot of cardholders, me among them.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. I can’t understand this minimum wage thing.  It makes a lot of sense to me that raising it by as much as they are talking about will lead to layoffs.  Why is Obama doing this now?  (Doreen ~ Salt Lake City, UT)
A. There are many reasons for this push; for one thing, Obama knows the discussion takes everyone’s attention away from Benghazi and ObamaCare.  But, a new twist is emerging: The White House is now starting to bend the arms of businesses telling them they have to absorb the wage increases and take lower profits.  The presence of this regime gets more and more ominous every ticking moment.

Q. McCain is calling for sanctions against Ukraine.  Isn’t that rather stupid?  (Penny ~ Kellogg, ID)
A. Yes and the Republicans ran this klutz against Obama?  The country needs natural gas for heat and Russia controls the supply.  The economy is fragile to say the least.  If we impose sanctions, we are simply driving the Ukrainians toward Russian control.  I predicted yesterday that Obama would draw another “red line,” and he did.  The problem is that he is so weak that his red lines are laughed at by Putin, Assad and the rest of the world.  There is now nothing, absolutely nothing that we can to change things in Ukraine.  Our President has made us impotent; we may never have another truly American child.

Q. Will the Tea Parties play an important role in the coming elections?  (Lou ~ Hanford, CA)
A.  Only if the rest of the country gets behind them.  We need to render Obama impotent by taking the Senate out of Democrat control.  We need to nullify ObamaCare and cancel hundreds of these onerous regulations that are destroying our economy and way of life.  The current Republican hierarchy doesn’t seem to be up to the task.
