Afghanistan

"The Taliban have informed us that they are prepared to provide the safe passage of civilians to the airport, and we intend to hold them to that commitment," Jake Sullivan says. He noted the administration is "in contact with the Taliban to ensure the safe passage of people to the airport."

On the other hand, the president was asked just six weeks ago if he trusted the Taliban, to which he replied: "No, I do not trust the Taliban."

Taiwan could fall before the end of the week, as China begins repositioning warships.

With the Taliban now butchering civilians, raping women and pillaging the U.S. arms we surrendered to them, expect a total news blackout about Afghanistan going forward.

In addition to criticism over the chaotic manner of the Afghanistan pullout, which many have likened to the humiliating and equally disordered withdrawal from what was then Saigon, South Vietnam in 1975, international allies are also questioning Washington’s security commitments and whether Biden will keep any of America's foreign policy pledges.

The numbers of suspected or known terrorists crossing illegally into the United States from Mexico have become unprecedented in the months since Joe Biden office in January and reversed most of former President Donald Trump’s border enforcement policies, Rodney Scott, the outgoing chief of the U.S. Border Patrol says.

The White House has revealed President Joe Biden has not spoken with world leaders since the Taliban took control of Kabul, the capitol city of Afghanistan. Who wants to talk with him, anyway?

THEY PROBABLY WISH THEY'D SAID THAT: "That's what happens to people when they don't do as I say!" ~ Joe Biden
