BORDER FENCE BREACHED

There has been a major breach in the fence along the Mexican border and Border Patrol agents are very concerned that the breach could have been caused by and allowed radical Islamists to gain entry into the country.  Arizona Public Media reported that the president of the National Border Patrol Council testified in a congressional hearing last week that cameras caught the images of two trucks crossing the area. Border patrol officials were not at the spot to catch them at the time of the illegal crossing and have no idea what was in the trucks.

COMMENTS:

Score another victory for Obama and his open border policy.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:

Q. What’s your opinion of Wisconsin’s Scott Walker endorsing Ted Cruz?  (Mandie ~ Goleta, CA)
A. Yawn.  At this point, what difference does it make?

Q. What is your read on the charges filed against Corey Lewandowski, [Trump’s campaign manager], for simple battery on Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields? (Gus ~ Chico, CA)
A. Just because you have been charged doesn’t mean you are guilty.  I haven’t seen the actual camera angle or what occurred immediately before or after the alleged assault.  I do know that several people have tried in the past to get on the stage with Trump and to punch him out.  I suspect, but do not know, that Lewandowski was trying to prevent what he perceived as a similar attack on Trump by Fields… in other words, that his contact with her was reactive rather than proactive.  Nevertheless, one has to presume that if there was any real validity to the charge, Trump or Lewandowski would have attempted to resolve the matter before it evolved into charges, so I’m inclined to think the charge is phony and being pushed by the Cruz campaign.

Q. I always thought Tukey was a U.S. ally, but I understand we have ordered the evacuation of all non-essential military personnel and their families?  (Brando ~ Nogales, AZ)
A. There is a deteriorating military security situation there.  The move underscores the U.S. belief that Turkey, for many reasons, is not able to protect Americans in that country.  On the other hand, according to Obama we have no reason to be concerned about Islamic terrorism.
