DETROIT BAILOUT?

The Federal government is shipping over $300 million in taxpayer dollars to help bail out bankrupt Detroit.

Why no money to help San Bernardino, Mammoth Lakes or Stockton, California or Central Falls, Rhode Island?  Could the fact that Detroit is owned by the AFL-CIO, Teamsters and S.E.I.U. have anything to do with it?   And, Obama expects us to smile and bend over while he raises the national debt?

A. 46,496,000 – the highest number ever.  That’s 6,667,000 higher than when Obama first took office and 15.3% of the nation’s population.  That’s a real change you can count on.

A. You are not going to like this answer.  The fact is that the entire nation knew what the problems were with ObamaCare in November of 2012, but they chose to reelect everyone anyway.  Now they are whining because ObamaCare is going to kill our economy and not solve the problems.  Either the people voted for these guys or they didn’t do their job in getting the word out.  That’s right: the advent of ObamaCare is our fault.  If you want to change the situation, you need to get started right now in voting these characters out in 2014.

Here are some California figures for you to consider for a male.  The first figure is his age, the second figure his annual income, the third figure his monthly premium for his plan, the fourth figure is how much maximum he could spend for medical care per year and the fifth is the name of his plan.

I learned in the casino business that wherever there is a pile of money there will be a multitude of people looking to get their grubby hands on it.  So it is with power.  Our Democracy puts the power of government in the hands of the people, but you could also say that there are others out there looking to grab it away from us.  That is exactly what has happened.  We all should understand that God helps those who help themselves.  What this all adds up to is that we need to put our feet down and seize back the power that was taken away from us and never let it out of our hands again.  God won’t do that for us; we have to do it, but He will protect us from the evil of others as long as we believe in and follow His teachings.  For us to just sit back and let others intimidate us like we are allowing is ridiculous.

A. Finally, I have something I can agree with Obama on.  Mitt Romney didn’t get elected.

A. Although I think the idea has philosophical merit, it is merely a pipe dream and certainly nothing more than a protest about how things are done in Sacramento.

BRONZE STAR RECIPIENT BEING CHASED OUT OF NEIGHBORHOOD

U.S. Army Sgt. Brian Wood, who served two tours in Afghanistan and is the recipient of two Bronze Stars for his valor, has been told by potential neighbors that there is no way they will accept his construction of a Habitat for Humanity house in their neighborhood in Morton, Illinois, because the house would be made of wood instead of brick. 

COMMENTS:

You can smell left-wing liberal snobbery all of the way to California.  It should be their honor to have his presence in their neighborhood, even if he lived in a tent.  Where is this damned country going?

Q. I heard [yesterday] that Obama just might raise the nation’s debt ceiling by Executive Order and leave the issue of ObamaCare funding in the dust.  Would he dare to try that?  (Gabrielle ~ Corona Del Mar, CA)

A. Absolutely he would try that.  He has no compunction about having his own way regardless of what the public thinks or wants.  However, I sense that Americans are fed up and that the mood for impeachment is growing, especially with the I.R.S. scandal and Benghazi Massacre.  Such a move might be the proverbial straw that breaks the camel’s back. 

Q. How do you feel about Obama’s telephone chat with Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani to talk about normalizing relations?  (Neville ~ Chandler, AZ)

A. Anybody and everybody who has followed Iran’s nuclear weapons programs over the years recognizes this as a ploy to buy time, much like the North Koreans did before announcing they had nuclear weapons.  I hate to say this, but my fear is that Obama is being misled by his Muslim roots.    

Q. Ted Cruz attacked the media and press for characterizing the battle over ObamaCare as being political and about personalities as opposed to being about what is best for the country.  He has been unmercifully attacked by Reid and Pelosi.  Is he on the up and up?  (Marlene ~ Palo Alto, CA)

A. He is right on.  All of the disgusting name calling and “holier-than-thou” attitudes emanating from the Democrats only serve to underscore the low I.Q. of the left-wing-liberals in their inability to have meaningful discussions on important issues.

OBAMA’S DISTURBING PAST

In 2006, newly-elected Illinois Senator Barack Hussein Obama headed off to Kenya and illegally used his office in violation of the Logan Act to campaign for his cousin of the Luo tribe, Raila Odinga, who was running for president there.  Although Odinga lost the election, he and his supporters waged violent jihad against Christians, hacking them to death with machetes, and conducted a prolonged campaign of “ethnic cleansing” and murder, riots, and all kinds of terror, including the burning and total destruction of at least 80 Christian churches.  The body count from that "religion of peace" program was in the thousands, with a half a million people displaced by the violence.  Odinga eventually was given the title of prime minister, and another key part of the deal was that Islamic Sharia law would be observed and enforced in all “Muslim declared regions” along with Islam being officially declared the supreme religion.

If you’d like to know more about Obama’s past, and you should, check into some of the many reports about his shady background that were making the rounds before the 2008 election… reports that the left-wing-controlled media and press in this country refused to investigate or report on.

A. Guns are being sold at the rate of more than 1,000 per day and have bogged down the state background check system.  Starting October 1st, handgun buyers in Maryland will be required to submit their fingerprints for a State-managed database, complete a mandatory safety course and obtain a license. The handgun registry makes Maryland the fifth U.S. State that tracks lawful gun owners. In addition, residents won’t be able to legally purchase ammunition magazines that hold more than 10 rounds. The sale of AR-15s, along with more than 40 other so-called “assault” weapons, will also be outlawed.  The outlawed weapons are the ones in high demand.  The new U.N. ARMS Treaty which Kerry just signed could provide the President the audacity to proclaim such laws on a nationwide basis by Executive Order. 

Q. The new Iranian President, Hassan Rouhani, has said that he recognizes the holocaust as being an atrocity.  Will that help mend Iranian – Israeli – American relations?  (Snow ~ Missoula, MT)

A. CNN was the outfit that reported Rouhani’s capitulation and the Iranian state-run media has promptly rebuked that report and said CNN put words in Rouhani’s mouth.  “CNN officials seem to be escaping their responsibility of informing the public honestly,” Fars News wrote on their English site. “During the interview, the CNN aired an English translation of President Rouhani's remarks which was totally inaccurate and untrustworthy, and in some parts contained sentences which were not at all uttered by the president.”    

Q. What do you think the end result of the current battle over ObamaCare will be?  (Lester ~ Lincoln, NE)

A. ObamaCare will be funded over loud protestations and ingenious maneuvering by the House Republicans.  Obama himself will continue to make wild claims and tell more outright lies in his efforts to keep ObamaCare alive.  In January and February when the full impact of ObamaCare hits the American pocketbook and the quality of healthcare goes down the tubes while a bureaucratic mess of paperwork chokes the system, Obama and the Democrats will be stuck owning one huge big piece of crap just before the 2014 elections, and I think the odds of having a strong Republican takeover of the Senate are excellent, especially as Americans realize that the House Republicans really were trying to prevent the disaster from happening.

A. No.  I do believe that the only reason McCain and other “old guard” Republicans oppose him is because they fear that if he should happen to win  the ObamaCare fight, he could win the Presidency in 2016, thereby short-circuiting Chris Christie or Jeb Bush who they favor.

A. It was too long and, like most of his speeches, flamboyant bullshit.    

Q. Rand Paul thinks the Supreme Court Justices should also be required to be on ObamaCare.  Why should anyone be excepted?  (Porky ~ Salem, OR)

A. What’s fair for members of Congress and their staffs should be fair for the Supreme Court and their staffs.  Regular Americans like you and me should not have any special privileges because all we do is pay taxes.
