A
Republican attempt to block President Obama’s executive dictates on immigration
failed in the Senate Tuesday night when all 46 Senate Democrats, and one
Republican, refused to even debate it.
COMMENTS:
The headline says it all. I guess the Democrats still haven't gotten the message about the will of the people.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. For Obama, it’s business as usual and no signs of any
increased activity against I.S.I.S. after the brutal burning alive of the
Jordanian pilot. How can he be so
insensitive? (Shiloh ~ Casper, WY)
A. It was a Jordanian pilot and therefore a Jordanian problem. And, he’s not insensitive; Fuhrers are simply
too busy stroking their egos to deal with petty matters.
Q. I understand Obama has people in place in Israel working to
defeat Netanyahu in his next election.
Didn’t Obama just say that the reason he doesn’t want to meet with
Netanyahu was that trip is scheduled too close to the Israeli elections and
Obama doesn’t want to appear to be interfering?
(Saul ~ Richardson, TX)
A. Don’t listen to what he says; watch what he does.
Q. I kind of liked Hagel as Defense Secretary. Why is he out? (Poppy ~ Fremont, CA)
A. According to Hagel, Obama ordered him to speed up the release of Gitmo
prisoners and Hagel, recognizing the danger, didn’t want to. Another reason is below.
