Police Chief Norm Jacobs of Beloit, Wisconsin is requesting
citizens should volunteer to let his officers search their homes for guns. Jacobs admits his notion that residents should
request a visit by officers to inspect their homes for unknown guns that may be
in the household has generated a lot of reaction, and not of the positive
variety.
COMMENTS:
Here’s another example of how left-wing Democrats just never
seem to use their brains to reason things through. Is an illegal gun owner going
to call them? Is a thug/criminal going
to call them? I suppose that if I called
them and they searched my house, but my neighbor refused to call them, they
might conjecture that my neighbor had something to hide. So, while cops are out on these
wild-good-chase searches, the shootings that have been going on in town can continue
unabated. The way this guy thinks, he
could well become the next Attorney General of the United States.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. One thing we never hear about anymore is the Fukushima
Nuclear Plant in Japan. What’s been
going on with it lately? (Norris ~
Garland, TX)
A. They’ve had a continuing problem with radioactive water
leaching into the Pacific Ocean. Plan A
was to use pipes to freeze the water in the trench to create a plug, which
would allow the water to be pumped out; that didn’t work. Plan B was along the
same lines, to dump dry ice into the trench along with the freezing pipes… that
failed again, probably because they tried it in the August heat. Plan C… same as above, but add grout and
concrete to plug the remaining holes. That
also has failed. Now comes Plan D:
They’ll fill the trench with cement and pump out the water as the cement goes
in; the odds of that succeeding are, in my considered opinion, slim and none. In the meantime, we have two problems: (1)
radioactive water is still literally pouring into the Pacific Ocean and (2) the
children are showing signs of cesium contamination. The whole disaster continues as the world,
oblivious to the implications, goes blindly forward. In other words, the whole world has its head
up its ass regarding this calamity.
Q. The lawsuit that the 17 Governors filed against Obama:
you say it’ll take years to work its way through the courts, but the Governors
are saying it could stop his Executive Order on amnesty dead in its
tracks. Can you elaborate? (Lorie ~ San Ramon, CA)
A. The lawsuit also asks for an injunction to prevent the
implementation of his E.O. To prevail on
a motion for preliminary injunction, a plaintiff must establish four things: 1)
that he is likely to succeed on the merits; 2) that he is likely to suffer
irreparable harm without preliminary relief; 3) that the balance of equities are
in his favor; and 4) that an injunction is in the public interest. I’m not optimistic that a Federal Judge will
rule in the Governors’ favor. I think
the Judge will require the E.O. to be implemented and then for the Governor’s to show how it is causing “irreparable
harm.”
Q. Do you believe Ann Compton’s claims that Obama angrily
cursed at reporters over their coverage of his multitude of scandals? (Candie ~ Fairfield, CA)
A. Yes, I do. Obama
is said by many to have an ugly mouth when he gets angry. This is a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the
Hitler he would choose to be. And, like
Hitler, he most assuredly wants full and complete control over the press; he wants them to be his propaganda machine.

“Through clever and constant application of propaganda,
people can be made to see paradise as hell, and also the other way round, to
consider the most wretched sort of life as paradise.” ~ Adolf Hitler
