Senator Reid has said that Katrina was “nothing” compared to Sandy. “The people of New Orleans and that area, they were hurt, but nothing in comparison to what happened to the people in New York and New Jersey.”
COMMENTS:
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has opened his big yap
again and insulted a whole lot of people.
Estimates on the Sandy damage range from $20 to $60 billion and killed
about 100 people. Katrina cost $108
billion and resulted in 1,833 deaths.
Those left-wing liberals are all famous for opening their mouths and
making total fools out of themselves.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. What’s your opinion of Chuck Hagel for Secretary of
Defense? (Young – Redondo Beach, CA)
A. I think the Republicans are making a whole bunch of noise
about nothing, something like an elephant in a china closet.
Q. There was a gun show ad placed next to a story about the
Newtown Massacre a few days ago.
Everyone went after the gun show promoters. Don’t they realize that it’s the newspaper that determines where in the
paper the ads appear? (Clarence ~ Rock
Springs, WY)
A. Even more frustrating is the ruckus over allowing gun
shows at all. The porn industry holds
conventions and shows across the country.
Gun shows are a great place for a potential gun buyer to go and check
out different models and makers; most gun shops can only afford to carry a
limited inventory. And there is
absolutely no evidence to support a contention that gun shows increase gun
violence. This supposition is somewhat
akin to kicking a ten-year-old kid out of school because he drew a gun as part
of an art project.
Q. Do you think there is any way Obama can ban gun ownership
in this country? (Chief ~ Kansas City,
KS)
A. He got ObamaCare passed, didn’t he? He got his way on the “Fiscal Cliff” didn’t
he? Now I will say this; if he passes
sweeping anti-gun legislation, he may be rudely surprised at the reaction of
the country. Hell, we'll have to nickname him "Boomer."
