REID REVOLTS!!!

In a totally uncharacteristic move, Majority Leader Harry Reid has agreed to allow a Senate vote on the constitutionality of Obama’s Executive Order on amnesty.

COMMENTS:
When I heard that, I headed straight for the liquor cabinet.  I’ve made an appointment to see my psychiatrist and also to get my hearing checked.  This is certainly going to be interesting.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. The D.O.J. has issued an opinion stating that Native Americans can grow and sell marijuana on their reservations.  How do you feel about that?  (Cornelius ~ Yuba City, CA)
A. Sick to my stomach.  By and large, that’s the last thing that needs to happen on reservations at this point in time.  It is another travesty perpetrated by the government on Native Americans.  Why don’t they let the Natives make whiskey and grow opium poppies as well?

Q. Just what in God’s name is in this $1.1 trillion dollar spending bill, anyway?  (Vinnie ~ Las Vegas, NV)
A. Pork, pork and more pork.  It is by far the most insane spending bill ever conjured up by a Congress.  The list of asinine spending would fill the pages of this blog for weeks to come.  The only… the only halfway decent provision in the bill is that the Department of Homeland Security will be operating on a Continuing Resolution until February 27th when their portion of the budget will come up again, opening the door a tad for defunding Obama’s Executive Order on amnesty for illegals. Don’t get your hopes up; Obama will veto it when the time comes up.  So, you see, it’s all a game and we’re the losers.  Palin and I disagree on the subject’ she says it stinks to high heaven and I say it stinks like hell.

Q. They have made great strides in cleaning up coal emissions. Why is Obama so intent on destroying that industry?  (Judith ~ Twin Falls, ID)
A. Because coal miners cling to their guns and religion.

TODAY’S QUOTE:
“The atmosphere does not fathom whether CO2 comes from U.S. oil or Chinese coal, nor do hurricanes lose force because the Heritage Foundation doesn’t believe global warming is a problem.  Living systems operate on laws over which we have no say.” ~ Paul Hawken
