SOUTH CAROLINA SCHOOL CANCELS CHRISTMAS TOY DRIVE

TOWNHALL.COM  is reporting a West Columbia, South Carolina charter school is cancelling its annual Christmas toy drive because a “humanist” group has threatened to sue on the basis the school is trying to bribe children to convert to Christianity.  The school made its decision based on the fact it has a limited budget and cannot afford to defend itself in court. 

COMMENTS:

Let us Americans stand up and put a stop to this outrageous tactic to silence and rid America of another great tradition, the tradition of collecting gifts to give to the less fortunate.  It is well past the time when we should have started to do so.  I hope some skillful attorney out there who agrees with me will take on the school’s defense pro bono.  It is all about giving, isn’t it? Good God,let the kids have some toys!

A. Just one more reason to send the Democrats packing next year.  They overturned over 200 years of Senate history when they did, just so they can force their wills down the throats of the rest of the country.  Keep names; let no one escape from their own poison.

A. Yes.  He and every other member of Congress who has been there more than six years have been tarnished by their affiliation with the “Good old boy” network.

A. It’s not just the N.S.A. we need to worry about.  Part of the problem with the ObamaCare rollout is that the law requires information be given to D.H.H.S. from six different agencies, doctors and insurance companies.  Social Security, Medicare, Department of Justice, state driver license files, Immigration and Naturalization, and the I.R.S. information is all going into one big data file.  We already now that the ObamaCare (ObamaMare) system is a huge security risk that has not been adequately addressed.  Any person who signs up for this program needs psychiatric care.

Martin has freedom of speech.  However, when I was in radio there were certain words you could not use and certain lines you could not cross, and that was by FCC regulation.  Freedom of speech doesn’t mean you have the freedom to leave your senses or to leave good taste behind, especially on the airwaves.  Society has the right to fire back at those who violate such standards.  Bashir should be terminated by his network and have his broadcasting permit revoked.  Let him make his remarks from a tree stump in the local sewer ponds.  It’s time for Americans to hold those left-wing bigots accountable for their vicious and despicable behaviors.

Q.  If Obama gets removed from office, Biden would become President.  From that place, could he beat Hillary Clinton for the 2016 Presidential nomination?  (Lilly ~ Davis, CA)

A.  What dilemmas you pose.  First of all, you’d have to get Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid behind the removal of Obama from office to make it work.  The Democratic Party is dumb enough to go down with the sinking ship because they refuse to accept the mere possibility that they might, somehow make a mistake.  Nevertheless, if Biden ended up in the White House, Hillary would die of a hissy before she had a chance to announce her candidacy.  What difference, at this point, does it make?    

Q.  Can Obama make a comeback and salvage his residency?  (Perry ~ Hemet, CA)

A.  Not if the allegations of manipulation of labor statistics prior to the 2012 election prove to be true, and it looks as if they are.  He also has Benghazi hanging around his neck, and that is the issue that could crumble his Presidency and result in impeachment.  I think he’ll become a totally lame-duck President at best.  Quack, quack.

OBAMA LIED ABOUT UNEMPLOYMENT FIGURES

The WASHINGTON POST is reporting that the Obama team deliberately lied about the real unemployment figures in the weeks and months leading up to the November 2012 elections.  The September 2012 job numbers were “manipulated” and the U.S. Census Bureau, the government agency responsible for the report, knew it, the Post alleges, citing “reliable sources.” This was supposedly done in an effort to sway voters and win the election.  

COMMENTS:

Should this be any surprise to anyone?  We all know the lies Obama told about Benghazi during the debates.  Let’s face it; Americans have a liar for President and if we can't trust him, why should Israel?  In fact, I suggest that Iran may already have its nuclear weapon.  Wouldn’t THAT be a bombshell, pardon the play on words.

A. From the description of the way the girlfriend acted, I think she might be manic-depressive bi-polar.  But, you sure have to wonder about good old George the way he keeps running into adverse situations.  Maybe he should take up boxing.

Q. The son of the Virginia senator who almost totally stabbed his dad to death before shooting himself had just been released from a psychiatric ward because they had a shortage of beds.  How can a shortage of beds be justification for letting a nut run loose?  (Megan ~ Socorro, NM)

A. I agree he could sleep on the floor for a while.  When you have the plague running loose and a hospital full of patients, the sick even have beds in the halls.  I think this was a gross mistake and policies and procedures need to be evaluated.  I also think the psycho ward could be sued.  I think there is poor judgment being used by a whole lot of people is responsible positions in all segments of our society.

Washington state resident Jessica Sanford was touted by Obama as being an ObamaCare success story, but she’s now found out that she doesn’t qualify for subsidies or tax credits.  How many more people are going to find out they don’t qualify for subsidies after they’ve already signed up?  (Nancy ~ Pendleton, OR)

A. Just like buying a used car and finding out that the engine doesn’t come with it, huh?  Since they purposely were hiding the costs of ObamaCare from potential clients signing up on the website, I suspect the number will be rather high.  This Administration never hides good news, only bad news.  Maybe Obama will feel sorry for her and buy her a beer in the White House Rose Garden.

IS VALERIE JARRETT DE FACTO PRESIDENT OF THE U.S.?

Valerie Jarrett wields more influence as to what goes on in the White House than Michelle Obama.  No one gets anything approved at the White House unless she’s in on it.  Now, the story is that she has been secretly negotiating with Iran’s Atomic Energy Commission and that a deal has been already struck, according to Israeli sources.  This means that upcoming talks are a farce. 

COMMENTS:

It also underscores my contention that Obama doesn’t know spit about foreign relations, particularly when it comes to the Middle East.  If you think Barack Hussein Obama is a left-wing socialist, you need to be aware that Jarrett is far more to the left in her political thinking than Obama.  I suspect that she has replaced the Bible with the Teachings of Mao Tse-Tung as her guiding light.

A. They come from underneath rocks made from petrified cow manure.  Whose determination is too much ammo?  One round?  One box of 20?  Considering my shot gun, my two rifles and three pistols, I have over 1,000 rounds of ammo on hand.  Is that too much?  Is a billion rounds, like the DHS has, too much?  Who says so?  People who enjoy shooting always have a lot of ammo on hand.  You look for sales and stock up.  You want to be able to go to the range and shoot to your heart’s content without going to the ammo shop every five minutes.  What’s wrong with that?  I don’t care how much ammo you have; you can only get so many rounds of ammo in a gun at a time anyway.

I hear that ObamaCare sent over $4 billion to states to implement their programs that we did not know about.  I also understand there is a provision that if insurance companies lose money, they will be reimbursed by ObamaCare.  How is it possible that this program is going to save us hundreds of billions of dollars when they can’t even get anybody to sign up for it?  (Peggy ~ Las Vegas, NV)

A. Essentially, everything they told you when they were trying to get it passed was a lie, Peggy.  There’s no way it can save anybody a dime.  In fact, it is going to add so heavily to the debt and tax burden of this country that many economists are warning it will be the straw that broke the eagle’s back.  I said it back in 2010 when it was passed and I’ll repeat myself now: It’s unworkable, uneconomical, unfair and unsustainable.  But, as Nancy Pelosi says, “It’s the law of the land, so get used to it.”

D.C. INSURANCE COMMISSIONER FIRED

District of Columbia Insurance Commissioner Michael White was fired Friday because he questioned the results of Obama’s plan to fix ObamaMare.  White voiced concern that if the plan were allowed to go forward, there could be a calamity in the marketplace and that he was therefore considering whether to go along with the President’s plan.  White was called into the Mayor’s office and fired. 

COMMENTS:

I don’t know that the firing was legal; I don’t have enough particulars.  But, the event serves to prove my contention that Obama is a dictator; you either do exactly what he says or you pay the consequences.  That, my friends, is why everyone in Washington is afraid to stand up to him.

A. They won’t use it against Syria or any other Arab Muslim state, which of course leaves Israel, their arch enemy.  Under ordinary circumstances, the U.S. would rein holy terror on any enemy of Israel and that would give the Iranians cause to think twice.  Under the current circumstances, you could easily say the U.S. is impotent and the go ahead and nuke Israel. 

Q. You have said more than once, as have others, that Obama should be impeached.  Do you think he’s done things as bad as Nixon did?  (Velma ~ Coalinga, CA)

A. Yes, and more of them.  Nixon’s cronies broke into the Democratic Headquarters and made off with files; a stonewall ensued.  Obama’s cronies have used the I.R.S. against their enemies; covered up and stonewalled on Fast & Furious and Benghazi, used the D.O.J. to spy on the Associated Press and others; refused to testify before Congress, performed end runs around the Constitution and Congress and directly lied to the American people.  Had Nixon been a Democrat, he would not have had to resign; were Obama a Republican, he never would have finished his first term.    

Q. How do you rate Kennedy as a President and do you think Oswald was the only guy involved in the assassination?  (Geraldo ~ Glasgow, MT)

A. I rate him average.  Although Ruby was well-known at Dallas Police Headquarters, you had the man who shot Kennedy coming out into the open and you have the cops, the F.B.I.  and the Secret Service there and I would be surprised that a building cockroach or mouse could move without being arrested or shoved out of the building; the proposition that Ruby got close enough to Oswald to shoot him is preposterous to me and I feel strongly it was a setup.  By whom and for what reason, one can only conjecture.

I hate to do this because there is soooo much to talk about, but I am taking a two-day hiatus to join my comrades in an American Legion event.  I'll be back on Monday; hopefully, you can get on to the ObamaMare website and get yourself a health insurance policy that won't cost you 40% or more as an increase and thousands of dollars in deductibles.  If not, there's always the price of horseshit to consider.

AMTRAK: GOVERNMENT ABOUT TO MAKE ANOTHER GIANT MISTAKE

Amtrak is losing somewhere in the neighborhood of $72 million a year.  Although that’s only about one-tenth of what they are spending on the ObamaCare website, they hired an auditor to figure out what’s wrong.  Back when the ill-fated government venture into private enterprise failed, someone suggested they might get more long-distance riders if they offered free drinks to the passengers and that they’d get better help if they started buying meals for them.  Sure enough, losses declined.  And, sure enough, the auditors are now saying that the government needs to cut the free booze and food out to save money.

A. He’s probably afraid that he’ll get booed off the stage. 

Q. I hear there’s a study out that says the incidence of racism is higher among non-black gun owners than other segments of the population.  Are they now about to say that all gun owners are racist?  (Garth ~ Sedona, AZ)

A. The study was done in Australia.  I find it difficult to believe; I think that the incidence of racism among blacks is much higher than whites, generally speaking.  The fact is that most gun violence occurs among blacks, but I have no statistics as to how much of that violence is directed against whites as opposed to blacks.  I think that as far as white gun violence is concerned, there is generally no correlation; most of those who shoot don’t care what color their prey is.  But, if saying that white gun owners are racists in America and if that argument will aid their quest toward more gun control, they’ll use it regardless of whether it is true or not. 

Q. Do you think the President’s solution to the ObamaCare problem he offered yesterday will do the trick?  (Lea ~ Belmont, CA)

A. No.  (Read my post on MY AMERICAN OPINION).  In fact, as the day wore on [yesterday], it became more and more apparent to me that people are seeing right through his “solution.”  And, they are seething mad.  I think they are angrier about having Obama abuse their trust of him in such a calloused and calculated dirty, rotten scheme.  Furthermore, I think his speech yesterday completed his conversion into a full-fledged lame-duck President.  Now, maybe there is finally some opportunity here for the Democrats and the Republicans to work together on some important legislation that no longer needs Obama’s dictatorial blessing.

HOLDER MAY BE IMPEACHED

A group of top GOP lawmakers is so fed up with the stonewalling coming out of Eric Holder’s Department of Justice office that they are drafting up Articles of Impeachment to have him removed.  They’re ticked off about his lying under oath as well. 

COMMENTS:

They’re going after the wrong guy.  You can bet your sweet potatoes that Holder doesn’t make a move without clearing it with Obama first. And remember: Obama is the guy who looked you and the rest of America straight in the eye and said your could keep your plan, period, when he knew that was not a fact.

A. Here’s the approximate breakout: 27,000 through the infamous Obamamare website and 79,000 through state-run exchange websites.  On the other hand, 396,000 signed up for Medicaid, which brings in no additional revenues. By my reckoning, they’re going to have to hike taxes by 50% to pay for all of this.   

Q. How are major cities doing in this continued adverse economy?  (Minnie ~ Las Vegas, NV)

A. Poorly.  Major cities are on the verge of bankruptcy due to pension obligations they cannot meet.  The list includes Charleston, Portland, Omaha, Chicago… you get the picture.  It makes me sick to think about it, because bondholders will take it in the shorts and the cost of borrowing money is going to skyrocket for all municipalities.      

Q. Do you think they should raise the federal minimum wage?  (Quincy ~ Sacramento, CA)

A. With the absurd costs of ObamaCare, the tax burden rising and inflation kicking in due to the endless printing of money, they’re going to have to increase the minimum wage to $30 an hour just to help people make ends meet.  The problem, of course, is that the cost of goods sold then rises dramatically so business can afford to pay the wages.  Pretty soon, you’re not going to be able to get a burger, drink and fries at McDonalds for 99 cents.

SHADES OF ACORN! DALLAS OBAMACARE SCANDAL!

ObamaCare navigators have been caught on tape in Dallas encouraging would-be clients to lie on their applications in order to get lower premiums, lower deductibles and higher subsidies.  FOX NEWS.

COMMENTS:

You do remember ACORN, the community organizing group that was caught signing up voters more than once, ditching Republican signups, etc. on a nationwide basis?  Obama was at one time their attorney and his campaign funneled the outfit money during the 2008 campaign.  ACORN was disenfranchised by Congress, filed for bankruptcy and split off into dozens of renamed organizations.  This latest revelation makes me believe that they’re still at it.  Obama is corrupt, ObamaCare is corrupt and those donkeys are getting away with it.

Q. Now that Bill Clinton has come out and said that Obama should honor his promise that people could keep their health plans and doctors, what do you think Obama is going to do?  (Pearl ~ Salt Lake City, UT)

A. Barry, Harry, Nancy and Kathleen are probably beside themselves right now.  If there is any attempt to allow people who have been kicked off to keep their plans and to force insurance companies to expand their lists of doctors to include those who have been excluded, the costs of ObamaCare alone could exceed the current national debt.  Seriously, it’s not going to be a pretty financial picture and you can bet your sweet potatoes that they are busily working away trying to figure to make you and me pay for it.  Now, I hate to harp on it, but I and many others warned the nation that the costs of this plan and keeping Obama’s promises were going to be so enormous it could push the country into bankruptcy… and we were spreading those warnings back in 2009 and early 2010.  Now the day has come and Obama will not… repeat will not… allow anyone to dump his disastrous plan.  Suck it up and hang on to your wallet; it’s going to be a bleak Christmas this year and probably a lousy economy next year.    

Q. FORBES is predicting that ObamaCare will be repealed well before the 2014 elections.  Your opinion?  (George ~ Bend, OR)

A. I remain consistent… no way.  You’d have to get Obama out of the way first.  The House would certainly vote for repeal.  If the Democrats continue to be upset and nervous, you still have to get 51 or more to vote repeal.  Reid and Pelosi would come unglued and Obama would certainly veto it unless 67 voted for repeal, the number required to override a veto.  I think Obama would move to a single-payer system first, before allowing a repeal.  Repeal would be a crushing blow to his legacy and his ego.   

Q. Did I hear that Obama made a derogatory remark about Veterans Day?  (Lance ~ Bullhead City, AZ)

A. As Obama left the wreath laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery and went inside to give his speech, he was overheard on a live microphone saying, “Jesus!”  Now, we need to be fair; we don’t know that was with respect to the military or Veterans Day; he could have just stepped in a pile of dog shit.
