ASSININE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION POLITICAL RETRIBUTION

The Obama Administration wants to require any company that contracts with the Federal Government to disclose its political contributions.  Theoretically, this is to prevent the making of contributions in return for contracts.

COMMENTS:
There is a whole slew of laws on the books already to deal with this issue.  This is nothing more than a thinly disguised Chicago-style political payback program; if this disclosure does not indicate that you contributed to the Democratic Party or the Obama Reelection Campaign, you will be automatically denied the contract.  That’s all it is, pure and simple.  And now, they are coming out in the open with the fact that they are a bunch of thugs.  This country has had enough of this bullshit, the type that Obama swore he was going to end and now so openly condones.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q.  I am a little ticked off.  I just heard that they are going to be calling my cellphone with changes in the national alert status and messages from the President?  What in the hell is this crap?  (Manny ~ Las Vegas, NV)
A.  I guess you are ticked off.  Yes, they will call you with those things plus any missing child alerts, etc.  The President wants to be able to call you and make sure you vote for him on Election Day.  I happen to think the concept is okay, but they should give me the ability to decide whether or not I want their calls.  What happens if I am an important business call and get interrupted by an alert for a missing child on the other side of the country?  What if I don’t want to hear from the Supreme Czar?  Frankly, this is the last straw of mandatory government intervention in my life.  I am ticked off, too.  Let’s go stick some salt peter in his coffee.

Q.  What would be the economic impact in this country if they outlawed guns?  (Jerry ~ Phoenix, AZ)
A.  I don’t know about the country as a whole, but I did read recently that gun owners and sportsmen in California contribute $6.3 billion to that state’s economy every year.  And that’s just the legal gun owners!

Q.  Is Obama putting on the “muscle” regarding the Mexican border?  (Kyle ~ Redding, CA)
A.  He has told all states that they had better not butt in on the Federal jurisdiction over immigration.  Now, every state has the right to protect its borders and the Federal government is charged with protecting the national border.  Where the national border and the state border are contiguous, (the same), I believe the states have a right to force the government to enforce the laws or the right to enforce the laws themselves.  That will be argued before the Supreme Court and I think the answer will be 5-4 in favor of the states, if they agree to hear it.  In the meantime, Obama has made it clear that he will withhold whatever Federal funding he can regarding any matter if a state decides to enact its own law or to start enforcing Federal law.  And, by the way, he did swear to uphold the laws of the United States when he took office, as if that means anything.

HERMAN CAIN, TRULY A DARK HORSE CANDIDATE?

Herman Cain announced his bid for the Presidency Saturday.

COMMENTS:
So, who is Herman Cain?  This is the guy who, I think, Obama should be paying attention to.  He’s articulate, he makes good conservative statements, he has an excellent track record in business, and he is a political novice.  Beside these things, he’s black and his choice as the Republican candidate would totally denude and exclude Obama’s rhetoric about racism.  Match him up with Bachmann or Palin and I don’t think Obama can get 30% of the vote.  But then again, the Democratic candidate might not be Obama; it could be Hillary.  I think if you had a runoff between Hillary and Barry right now, Hillary would win hands down. But, you need to start learning more about Herman Cain.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q.  How can a guy who just won $2 million bucks be getting food stamps?  (Char ~ Layton, UT)
A.  All you have to do is apply.  That’s your tax dollars at work.

Q.  I understand there are several states which have refused stimulus money and other Obama dollars?  (Gordy ~ Ventura, CA)
A.  Florida for one has turned down $250 billion for a high-speed rail system.  They realized there was no way it could make money.  Obama had a real hissy over that one; he probably figures they’re a bunch of right-wing racists.

Q.  Are they actually going to raise the national debt limit, when the Democrats show no sign of quitting spending?  (Mary ~ Redding, CA)
A.  Yes.  They’ve been making excuses for this for weeks now; you know, “there’s no way we can default.”  Not us.  Good God, the world might end.  Besides, if they reduce spending, how can they buy votes?

GEITHNER: A REALLY BIG FINANCIAL MELTDOWN COMING!

Secretary of the Treasury Tim Geithner has said he is certain another financial catastrophe is coming.  He blamed a combination of timid politicians and credit card-debt-ridden Americans, for the financial nightmare that has infested the country over the past three years.  As for a time-frame, he said we will not know until it is too late.

COMMENTS:
There it is, exactly what I have been saying since we first tanked the economy, that the worst was yet to come.  And now, it’s coming from the horse’s mouth.  The other end of the horse, however, piped up that we need to tax the rich more.  I don’t agree and I don’t disagree.  What I do say is that we need to quit the goddam spending and we need to revamp the tax system in this country.  Stopping spending comes first, and Obama and his cronies are now really gearing up the heat saying… we need to spend more.  And to that, we all say… “Horse manure.”

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q.  I heard yesterday there is a move on to unionize the Office of Management and Budget.  Aren’t they the ones that are in charge of keeping track of what Congress is spending?  This should be totally against the law!  (Steph ~ Des Moines, IA)
A.  Remember when they were working on ObamaCare and the OMB kept coming up with figures on how much it was actually going to cost the taxpayers, and they’d have to go back to the drawing board to try some new lies?  Well, Obama wants to put a stop to all of that “nonsense.”

Q.  The Tea Party made great strides in replacing some of Congress’ worst offenders, but there are still all of those Members who did not get the message.  We want spending cut, and we want it cut now.  We want ObamaCare stopped and we want it stopped now.  Once again, the Democrats don’t get the message and the Republicans seem to be waffling.  And, they’re all trying to downplay the importance and the efforts of the Tea Parties.  What do we do now?  (Carlos ~ Chicago, IL)
A.  I’m glad to hear there is someone with sense in Chicago, of all places.  We have to get active.  We have to swell the ranks of the Tea Parties because they are obvious thorns in the sides of the corrupt politicians.  Every day, hour and minute, we have to grow together and make our voices so damned loud that they can’t even hear themselves think... as if they were capable of thinking, that is.

Q.  Every time I turn around, it’s a new government regulation or new scheme to take away our liberties or make things tougher on us.  Now, I hear the EPA is circumventing Congress and putting its own “Cap and Trade” into place under “Executive Authority.”  What Executive Authority?  This is a democracy, not a socialistic dictatorship.  (Lillie ~ Bella Vista, CA)
A.  And just where have you been for the last 2-1/2 years?  You didn’t know we had changed governments?

SOCIAL SECURITY: WHOSE MONEY IS IT?

The Congress talks about the shortage of money in the Social Security system as being some kind of a flawed program.  “It has to be fixed,” they say, or it will bankrupt the nation.  And, they talk about it as it was their money.

COMMENTS:
First of all, that’s OUR money in there, what’s left of it.  Not one dime of it belongs to “them.”  You paid into it, I paid into it and our employers paid into it.  The damned government never stuck a penny into that fund, but they sure as hell got their grubby fingers on that money and they spent it the same way they have taken this nation to the brink of economic collapse.  Had they not confiscated… stolen… our money, there would still be tons of money left in the program.  But, now that they have trashed the program and stolen our money, they want to change the “entitlement” so they can steal some more.  The real reason they are trying to avoid dealing with the issue is that their thieving ways will end up in our faces every day that they talk about it and they want to be reelected, as if they deserve it.  It’s our money.  Go ahead and pay us our money right now, all of it, and then you can change it or abolish it as you will.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q.  Is Newt Gingrich really finished? (Maurice ~ Chowchilla, CA)
A.  Yes.  He said it and he meant it or he would not have waited two days to apologize for it.  And Limbaugh nailed him further on it; if he didn’t say it and he didn’t mean it, why did he apologize for it?  He’s toast.  Be happy we know the truth now.  Don’t be surprised if he switches parties.

Q.  Finally, a state that is showing some sense!  Colorado voted down a bill to give illegal aliens an in-state tuition rate.  Why aren’t more states stepping up to the plate; illegals should get nothing except a one-way trip out of the country, first offense, and jail time if they come back.
A.  Finally, a reader that gets it!  Most of our immigration problems are caused by the Federal government mandates or by left-wing liberal thinking. Look for the ACLU to take Colorado to court over this issue.  It’s not over yet.

Q.  I understand that Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu gave President Obama quite a stern lecture during their meeting.  He certainly appeared to be somewhat angry when he spoke afterwards.  Do you think Obama got the message?
A.  No.  Obama has yet to get any message from anybody.  He’s a pathological narcissist; therefore, no one else exists.

OBAMA GETS SENATE SNUB

The United States Senate, controlled by the Democratic Party which is in turn supposedly controlled by the President, voted 52-43 to turn down Obama's nominee, Goodwin Liu to be a Judge on the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.  Democrats needed 60 votes to move the nomination to final passage.

COMMENTS:
The Ninth Circuit is the most liberal left-wing Court in the entire world.  This should have been a slam dunk.  Obama must really, really, really be pissed off. I almost feel sorry for him.  Almost, I said.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q.  Obama, the President of the United States and NOT the President of the World, decrees that Israel will give part of its land to Palestine for a new country?  Who in the hell does he think he is?  He has so much alienated our close ally, Israel, since he has been President. (David ~ Vacaville, CA)
A.  He is the supreme Oligarch.  Shut up and kiss his feet.  Don’t worry about him making an enemy out of Israel; he can always walk across the Dead Sea and bow and everything will be fine.

Q.  I am so disappointed in hearing that Lance Armstrong used performance-enhancing drugs when he was racing.  Isn’t there an honest person left in this world?  (Sal ~ Beverly Hills, CA)
A.  Yes.  Contact Barack Hussein Obama, 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC  20500.  On the other hand, maybe we should quit clinging on to our Bibles and guns and start reading?  A little religion never hurt anyone and buckshot tends to get people in line.

Q.  Is it really possible that the Tylenol killer was Ted Kaczynski? (Grubby ~ Fortuna, CA)
A.  People with the first name of Ted tend to be involved with all kinds of gory things.  There was Ted Bundy, for one.  Ted Kennedy’s little jaunt across the Bridge at Chappaquiddick is another example.  Yes, Ted could be guilty.  He wanted attention and he was ticked off at American society; why not?  Certainly it could not have been Ted Qaddafi.

IRAN BUILDING MISSILE BASES IN VENEZUELA

The Iranian government is constructing rocket launch bases in Venezuela, according to the German daily Die Welt. Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez is Teheran’s a close Iranian ally.  The rocket pads would probably house intermediate-range missiles that could be capable of reaching the southern United States.  Defense systems to protect the sites are also being installed.

COMMENTS:
Don’t expect this President to step up to the plate like Kennedy did.  When you stop and think about it, what Iran and North Korea and other nations are doing around the world right now would never be tolerated by any other President except, maybe, Jimmy Carter.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q.  They are saying that union members and friends of Pelosi do not have to abide by the new ObamaCare law.  What gives?  (Ollie ~ Medford, OR)
A.  That is correct.  They are issuing waivers and the stats show a whole lot of them live in Pelosi’s district and over 50% are union members.  Are you suggesting there is something wrong with rubbing it in your face?  Do you understand now why I hate this Administration?

Q.  We are still so for from the 2012 elections.  Why is everyone all of the sudden talking Presidential politics?  (Babs ~ Chico, CA)
A.  Now, I am not being coy.  I think the nation is so sick and tired of Barack Obama that people are literally praying for someone to come along and take him out.

Q.  What would happen if they did get rid of subsidies for oil companies?  (Red ~ Reno, NV)
A.  The oil companies would raise gas prices.

JAPAN’S NUCLEAR CRISIS CONTINUES

The Nuclear Energy Institute is saying that rods at the bottom of Reactor 1 have melted and that efforts to further cool the reactor are not necessary; only a small amount of water is needed.  But, efforts to contain the remaining reactors have stalled.  Extremely high levels of radiation in the building housing Reactor 1 may alter plans at the site.  The Japanese government plans to advise schools near the Fukushima facility that burying soil contaminated by radiation reduces its radiation level. The government said that burying topsoil 20 inches underground reduced its radiation level by 90 percent.  Chubu Electric Power Co. has agreed to the Japanese government’s request to shut down reactors at its Hamaoka nuclear power plant, about 200 miles southwest of Tokyo. The government had asked Chubu to implement safeguards against possible earthquakes and tsunamis. The company began shutdown of Hamaoka 4 on Friday.

COMMENTS:
The problems there continue to be serious.  We know now that the disaster is at least as critical as Chernobyl.  But, the underlying lesson is that they were lax in maintenance, lax in preparations for emergencies, lax in reporting standards, lax in inspections.  But, given their track records, they are still far safer than we think.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q.  Can Newt Gingrich, who is now back-peddling from what he said on “Meet the Press,” salvage his run for the Presidency?  (Nan ~ Redding, CA)
A.  He committed intolerable sins; he cut Paul Ryan’s knees off.  He backed a “modified version” of ObamaCare.  As far as I am concerned, he is now a non-entity, a bag of preposterous wind that has lost all credibility.  And, I think that conservatives are all feeling the same way.  He could have gone and had sex with Nancy Pelosi and that sin would not be as bad as this.  He’s toast.  Thank God we know his truths now, and not on January 21st, 2013.

Q.  Is there a possibility Huckabee might change his mind and run?  (Nan ~ Redding, CA)
A.  Well, you get a twofer… two questions fer one blog post.  I hope so.  With Trump out and Gingrich toast, Huckabee might really be the slam dunk.  My fear is that Michelle Obama threatened to scratch his eyes out.  I also like Herman Cain.  I’m not excited about any other prospects right now.  I do like Sarah Palin, but I don’t think now is her time.  Michele Bachmann?  We’ll see.

Q.  In your blog, MY AMERICAN OPINION, you said that the problem with the system is that politicians and the ones deciding who the runners will be, and that we should get away from that; Americans should be the ones deciding.  The way things have come to pass these last few days, I think you are right on.  Does this mean we are going to be stuck with Romney?  Is that written in the wind?  (Jim ~ Redding, CA)
A.  He’d like to think so. If that comes to pass, Obama will win and we can kiss this country goodbye.  As for me… I won’t even vote under these circumstances, and I’ve voted in every election since 1963.

HOLD ON TO YOUR WALLETS! WE’RE AT THE LIMIT!

Well, ladies and gentlemen, the day has finally come when we have reached our $14,500,000,000,000 debt limit.

COMMENTS:
Are there enough zeroes in that figure to suit your fancy?  That’s only $47,230 for every man, woman and child in the United States, except the illegals of course; they don’t have to pay.  They can add to it, but they don’t have to pay it back.  So, our MasterCard, Visa, American Express have all been used up.  Let’s go apply for a Discover Card!  Sure, that’s it!  Let’s get one of those deals where we can use our new credit limit to pay off the old limits at the other banks!  You know the routine!  Or, we could just quit answering the phone; that way, won’t have to pay anyone anything and if they start knocking at the door, we’ll get the Federal Consumer Protection Agency to chase them off.  Ain’t life good?

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q.  Huckabee is out, Trump is out, Gingrich has alienated every conservative in the country and you liked them all.  Who do you like now?  (Kylie ~ Fairfield, CA)
A.  Pat Paulsen.

Q.  When the dust settles, what do you think is going to happen in the Middle East?  (Prentice ~ Stony Brook, NY)
A.  Should they ever get their acts together, they could well rule the world.  I think, however, they will end up with new dictators and life will go on.  Al Queda?  I don’t think they can overcome the zealots.

Q.  It often seems to me that Obama is indecisive, that he doesn’t make up his mind until his back is to the wall, and that he’s often wrong.  How did a man like him ever end up being President?  (Phil ~ Redding, CA)
A.  Are you saying you are not one of the 500 million Americans who followed Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid to the polls to vote for change?  Ask George Soros.

MEXICAN DRUG CARTELS ARE TERRORIST ORGANIZATIONS

Arizona Attorney General Tom Horne has told Congress that the Mexican cartels should be declared terrorist organizations and dealt with accordingly.  That would put them on the same status as Al Queda and allow us to freeze any assets we can find.

COMMENTS:
Arizona is facing a very tough problem with illegal immigration and associated crime and the Feds don’t seem willing to stop it.  In fact, Federal authorities have been quick to point out there are plenty of laws on the books to deal with the problems, but Grayling Williams, director of the Office of Counternarcotics Enforcement in the Department of Homeland Security, has offered no rationale for the failure of the Feds to apply those laws.  Let there be no mistake about it; we are at war, right here on the North American continent. Obama can laugh about alligators and moats, but he is showing his real ignorance and outright belligerence when he does.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q.  What’s the real story about RomneyCare?  (Bret ~ Yountville, CA)
A.  About five years ago, Mitt Romney was Governor of Massachusetts and he ramrodded a bill through for health care in that state which is remarkably similar to the disastrous ObamaCare.  Although he is gearing up to run for President, he’s made no apologies, saying only that he would repeal ObamaCare.  I’m sorry, I don’t trust a damned thing a politician says, and Obama himself has proven me right.  That’s one of the reasons I like Trump and Cain, they're not politicians.  For the record, here’s how well the plan has worked in Massachusetts:
·         The average wait time for an appointment with an internist is 48 days, and the wait time to see a family physician is 36 days.
·         The average wait time for pediatricians is 24 days, according to the MMS’s “2011 Study of Patient Access to Health Care.”
·         Access to primary care physicians is becoming more restricted — 53 percent of family physicians and 51 percent of internists are not accepting new patients.
·         Patients wait an average of 43 days to see a gastroenterologist, and 41 days to see an obstetrician/gynecologist.
·         While 87 percent of family physicians accept Medicare, only 62 percent accept MassHealth, the state’s version of Medicaid.
·         Only 56 percent of family physicians and 43 percent of internists accept Commonwealth Care, an insurance program for adults who don’t have private health insurance and don’t qualify for Medicare. Just 44 percent of family physicians and 35 percent of internists accept Commonwealth Choice, a program for uninsured adults that offers unsubsidized health insurance to people who are not eligible for Medicaid or Commonwealth Care.
·         Due, in part, to a shortage of doctors participating in the program, the number of emergency room visits has actually risen under the Massachusetts plan.
Q.  How do you feel about Newt Gingrich?  (Celeste ~ Walnut Creek, CA)
A.  I’ve just had a real shocker that occurred after I got your question.  I thought he would make a good President, but now, according to Newsmax, he has come out in favor of mandatory health insurance… just a slight variation from ObamaCare.  He also said Rep. Paul Ryan’s design to balance the budget is nothing more than a “Right Wing Extremist” social engineering plan.  I cannot believe the S.A.B. (silly assed bastard, pardon my Spanish) did that.  I’m flabbergasted… it was on “Meet the Press.”  As far as I am concerned, he can bow out of the race right now.  I’d even vote for McCain before I’d vote for him.  Maybe he can learn how to bow effectively from Obama.

Q.  All of this horrible flooding along the Mississippi and other rivers makes me wonder why they have not resolved those dangers decades ago.  (Marlena ~ Galveston, TX)
A.  That just goes to show that not even the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in all of its illustrious glory can outdo Mother Nature.
