The California state election watchdogs are looking into
allegations that money was funneled from oil companies through the state’s
Democratic coffers and into Governor Jerry Brown’s pockets, as well as to the
campaign coffers of other prominent California politicians. Contributions from Chevron, Pacific Gas &
Electric Co. and Occidental Petroleum Corp. appear to have been given to the
state’s Democratic Party around the same time the party gave Brown’s campaign
donations of similar amounts. A
few weeks after receiving large campaign donations, Brown came out against a
new oil tax that would have benefited the state with billions of dollars in tax
revenues.

The whole damned party must be corrupt. Don’t you wonder why the Feds aren’t snooping
around over this?
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Why is the media covering up the fact that the
Burlington, Washington mall shooter was a Muslim? (Denver ~ Renton, WA)
A. Because it was on the eve of the debates and Obama and
his goons didn’t want the fact to become part of the debate dialogue. And once again, if you sweep it under the
prayer rug, it doesn’t exist.
Q. I’m really concerned about voter fraud, particularly with
Obama bringing in all of these illegal aliens.
Should I worry? (Lucifer ~ Nampa,
ID)
A. Absolutely. Take
Virginia, for instance; so far, they’ve
found 550 non-citizens registered to vote and they’re still counting. Remember how close the Bush-Gore election
was? They’ve also found people who have
been dead for years have been voting in Colorado. For some reason, all of these illegal votes
seem to be cast by Democrats.
Q. Do you believe in subsidies for American industries? (Myron ~ Palmdale, CA)
A. In some cases, yes. I’m all for the farming subsidies and for renewable
energy subsidies. We need food and we
need cheap, non-fossil energy. I do not
believe in oil subsidies; oil companies are making obnoxious profits, just as
are pharmaceutical companies. .
TODAY’S QUOTE:
“Subsidies and mandates are just two of the privileges that
government can bestow on politically connected friends. Others include grants, loans, tax credits, favorable
regulations, bailouts, loan guarantees, targeted tax breaks and no-bid contracts.”
