By executive order last summer, President Obama amended the
Johnson-era federal order on non-discrimination in hiring by federal
contractors to include non-discrimination based on “sexual orientation and
gender identity.” That order has created much angst among various faith-based
groups. Regardless of the Supreme Court
tendency to enforce religious freedom, Obama and his team will deny any
religious organization which refuses to hire LGBT the right to receive federal
grant money.

Q. Obama said the other day that the only way to decrease
gun violence in this country is to enact more gun control laws. Don’t we have plenty of laws on the books

A. Yes, we do; they’re just not being followed for one
reason or another. But don’t forget, the
Obama Administration itself still hasn’t come clean on its famous “Fast and
Furious” gun-running scandal.
Q. So five Republican candidates have 10% ratings in the
latest polls, being: Bush, Carson, Huckabee, Rubio and Walker. What do you make of that? (Charles ~ Helena, MT)
A. Right now, I could vote for any one of them, and if I
were a Democrat, I’d vote for all five of them.
Q. I heard only part of a good story about Girl Scouts and
American flags. Can you fill me in? (Charlotte ~ Eureka, CA)
A. As is tradition in most American cities, gravesites of American
servicemen in Elsinore, California are decorated with American flags for
Memorial Day. Some scum stole them all… 650
of them… from a storage shed. The local
Girl Scout Troop reached into its cookie fund to spend $450 at local stores and got
the flags replaced in time for the holiday.
One upon a time, long, long ago… good stories like this dominated the
news in this country.
