Myrna Arias, a sales executive at Intermex Wire Transfer in Bakersfield, California, and also at NetSpend at the same time, determined that Intermex, which required her to keep her company cell phone on 24/7, was using a GPS tracking app even when she was off duty. She states she had no problem with the company doing the tracking when she was on duty, but when off duty it was none of their business where she was. Not only did they fire her for being “disloyal,” they also arranged for her to lose her job at NetSpend.
COMMENTS:
Obviously, Intermex is vengeful and damned nosy. The company vice-president even bragged about
knowing how fast she was driving on the freeway.
This type of software app could easily be used for nefarious
stalking. Hopefully, when they go out of
business after being sued, they’ll be able to find their way home.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. I am so sick and tired of this Obama government sticking
its nose into my private business and choices.
Now, I hear they’re going to regulate vending machines? (Clovis ~ Richmond, VA)
A. Uncle Barry and Aunt Michelle are trying to keep you
healthy. As a result, the government is
now looking at vending machines. Their
intentions are that, when you select a non-healthy snack, the machine will take
its own sweet time in dispensing it, probably asking you several times in the
process if you “really” want that snack.
Healthy choices will dispense immediately and, presumably, you’ll hear
Michelle give you an “atta boy.”
Q. It looks like Kerry got nowhere fast when he went to
visit with Putin. (Victoria ~ Daly City, CA)
A. Understand that the Obama team is seen throughout the
world as being totally impotent. Why
should we expect Putin to give them anything except lip service under the
circumstances? I wouldn’t be surprised
if the conversation started by Putin saying, “Where did you get your license
for diplomacy, out of a Cracker Jack box?”
Q. Obama goes after FOX NEWS at least once a week. Why doesn’t he give up? (Daryl ~ Boise, ID)
A. Obama sees anyone and everyone who disagrees with him on
anything as being an enemy. He said just the other day that we have to change
the way we deal with the media, meaning censorship. Believe me: he’s going to
get downright dictatorial and nasty before he leaves office.

the ladder of free speech. Immediately
on attaining power, each dictator has suppressed all free speech except his
own.” ~ Herbert Hoover
