Border Patrol agents working the Texas, Arizona and
California borders are overwhelmed beyond words with the sea of humanity
surging into America. As a result, they
have little or no time to accomplish their real purpose of protecting our
borders against drug smugglers, criminals and even terrorists crossing into the
southern states. Additionally, the White
House admits it has no idea what percentage of illegals making it here are
actually showing up for their court dates.
COMMENTS:
Obama wants $3.7 billion to spend on the problem. Nowhere in this request is there money for
more agents, for a fence or for addressing the real reasons for this influx. He wants to spend it on courts, when
historical precedent shows the illegals won’t show up for courts. He wants to spend it on retention facilities
which, I suspect, he wants to force down the throats of unwilling
communities. He does want to spend some
of it on “repatriation,” but fails to provide for the costs of chasing these
illegals down and arresting them. In other
words, he wants to ignore the real problem and piss our $3.7 billion off into the
wind. If Obama and Pelosi are so set on
keeping these people here, they should set up shelter camps on the White House
and Capitol lawns.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. It’s looking more and more like Romney is going to run
again. Will the Republicans put him on
the ticket? (Jasper ~ Rialto, CA)
A. The Republican hierarchy is bound by the rules of
mediocrity. They could well put him on
the ticket along with Jeb Bush or Chris Christi or even John McCain. They’re so used to shooting themselves in the
foot that they can’t see that their ways of the past have been fruitless
exercises in futility. Americans are fed
up with the mediocre level of leadership in Washington; we want a real leader to emerge for a
change. How about Putin for
President?
Q. Bloomberg says his team is going to question every
candidate for office on their gun control views. Won’t he ever give up? (John ~ Taos, NM)
A. Tyrants never give up.
Actually, it will work to our benefit; any candidate who waffles on the
gun control issue can be voted down; his “committee” will separate the wheat
from the chaff for us. It’ll be just
like the good old days of fear and intimidation that liberal leftists like him
thrive on.
Q. Quinnipiac University has a poll out that says Ronald
Reagan was the best President since FDR and Obama is the worst since FDR. Your thoughts? (Gina ~ Douglas, AZ)
A. I think highly of Truman; I’m inclined to rate him as
even with Reagan. As for Obama, I
totally disagree with the poll results. In
my view, Obama is the worst President since King George III.
