Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel is warning that the Sunni extremists in Iraq pose a serious and imminent threat to the security and stability of every civilized nation in the world. According to Hagel, ISIS is "a force that is sophisticated. It's dynamic, it's strong, it's organized, it's well financed, it's competent, and it is a threat to our allies all over the Middle East. It's a threat to Europe. It's a threat to every stabilized country on Earth, and it's a threat to us.”
COMMENTS:
Don’t sweat it; Obama has everything under control. On a more positive note, at least Hagel has the guts to at least occasionally tell the truth in that Administration.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. I know it must have something to do with gun control; the
Brady Campaign has filed suit against the State of Nebraska. Can you explain? (Lew ~ Daly City, CA)
A. It’s Kansas, not Nebraska. Last April the state passed a law nullifying the
enforcement of any federal gun control regulations. The Brady Campaign is suing on the basis that
the rules of Supremacy prescribe that Federal Law trumps State Law. It argues that courts, not States, have the authority
of interpreting the Constitutionality of laws that limit the 2nd Amendment, and
that “federal courts…have made clear that the Second Amendment allows for
reasonable firearms regulations, confirming the constitutionality of virtually
all, if not all, existing and proposed federal firearms laws.” While the Brady Campaign seeks to shoot down
the Kansas law, (play on words intended), I don’t know that the Brady Campaign
has any standing to file the lawsuit; it must first prove it has been injured
in some way by the Kansas law.
Q. What are we going to do about the situation of the former
Marine held in a Mexican prison? (Irma ~

A. For now, the same as we are doing with the border crisis...

Q. Obama actually had the guts to come out and say now that
he’s not running for election, he doesn’t have to lie anymore. What do you have to say about that? (Christine ~ Mesquite, NV)
A. Once a liar, always a liar. He’s pathological. He can’t help himself. And he intends to keep Americans angry because,
as Michelle and Valerie once said, now it’s time for a payback. Thank God not all Blacks think like that.
